My name is Eliana and I dream of a world with people at ease, with no real problems whatsoever. They would get along with others better than today, too. You see, most problems in this world, such as no poverty or quality education, are in sight happen to people down at their luck. However, no one really notices that ordinary people have internal struggles, or ‘wars’ as they might say, within them, making them in reality not actually at peace. Relationship sagas and financial issues are the most common out of them, in many scenarios, which can lead to other problems such as bullying and drugs, slowing the resolution of the problems listing above, creating heavier blows for others. So, how do we solve this? This would be easier said than done: open up. Not like a door-the kind where you pour out your feelings to a close person of yours, or it could even be confided into a diary, too. It would be like a therapy of sorts. The main benefit of this procedure is that the person would have the great feeling of a heavy weight going off their chest due to the worrying capacities one would take when facing internal problems. However, in the near future, once this problem field has been investigated further, there may be other special treatments to rid people of these problems. This is my dream, and I hope it comes true. I have two dream I would really love to accomplish, the first one is in the agricultural sector, our farmers in Uganda grow crops, they inqor alot of expenses while growing these crops, but the biggest problem they face is price fractuations yet their commodities are usually perishable and hence they are forced to sell them and low prices, so I have an idea, if I teamed up with some programmer friends and come up with an application it can be computer or mobile application, that can be liked to storage facilities(specific materials of storage facilities) that can enable those facilities to maintain certain temperatures and conditions for the agricultural commodities to stay healthy, and safe till when the prices raise again, I guess that would be an excellent idea, and there fore the farmers will earn some reasonable money from farming, we shall be in position to get good agricultural produce since they are kept in perfect shape and hence a good health . chrisasarah@gmail.com

Hello good people, my name is Namulema Sarah, my dream is to empower girl child in order to reduce violence in girl child, I had actually on a small scale started this with a friend called Christine, there are so many girl child school drop outs in Uganda both, they drop out due to various reasons some of them which include early pregnancies, lack of school fees and so may others, so I came up with an organization called BASAANIDE( THEY DESRVE IT) to help in skill children with practical skills such as cooking both local and modern dishes, tailoring, interior designing, public speaking, computer skill and so many others, I haven't registered the organisation yet because I don't have the funds to do so at the moment, but we carry out the activities on a door to door small scale base. for the tailoring classes, among the many we used to train girl child how to make reusable sanitary towels with the help of my friend Christine. This was because girls are stigmatized during their periods, 90% of the families in villages cant afford buying sanitary towels, so we came up with this idea to enable girls menstruate with pride. The main reason for all this is to equip these children with skill such that they can afford earning their own income with or with out formal education. This will greatly reduce violence and bad habits since the children will be able to do something by them selves. This same project reduces the unemployment problem which has really taken up almost the entire Uganda. And if God willing funds be got,i can come up with study stations where we can train the children from. Thank you so much.

Our planet, Our future Our world as we know it is rapidly changing. As climate change is affecting us all, we must act now. We must realize that the planet Earth is our only home. Similar to how we care for our homes, cleaning it, maintaining it, keeping it safe and comfortable, we should do the same to our planet. Instead, every day 200 million animals and birds die in slaughterhouses to feed humans from developed countries while the problem with global hunger is still unresolved. Uncounted fish and sea creatures are killed during commercial fishing. It is believed that soon our oceans are going to be out of life, creating enormous disruption in the multiple animal ecosystems that can backfire and harm humans as a result. For example, birds, polar bears, sharks, and penguins are on the verge of extinction due to the lack of fish disappearing from accessible shore waters. Coral reefs provide sea life with shelter, camouflaging fish from predators, and it absorbs nearly one third of carbon dioxide emissions. Extensive chemical use, commercial net fishing and global warming destroy corals leading to major disruption below the sea. Let’s mention habitat loss of wild animals too. Tigers, pandas, rhinos, elephants, gorillas are soon to be seen only in zoos because of poachers that illegally hunt and sell animal body parts in black markets. And those who don’t die, get stuck and suffocate in plastic pollution. Is this how we should treat our home? Envision living in a world where no other living creatures but humans live? This paints a pretty daunting picture. Solution to this lies in the hands of our world leaders who were trusted and selected to advocate for our better future. Also in their power is to leave a legacy and an example for the future leaders. Meanwhile, we can do what is necessary and in our control by reducing our personal carbon footprint. We can all agree that we need to protect our forests. It is a fact that 20% of our oxygen comes from the Amazon rainforest. We can plant even more trees too. We can protect sea life with imposing fishing restrictions for commercial operators. One of sustainable examples is turtle farm in Dubai that helps brood new turtles and release them into the wild. We can advocate for cleaner air by controlling factories emissions. I imagine living in a world of kindness, where animals not just survive but thrive in their habitats, where fish can swim freely in the oceans, gas and oil development have stopped and alternative energy solutions are used. Our responsibility is to act swift in this situation, educate ourselves and make long term healthy choices. As Wendell Berry, eco activist, once famously said, “The Earth is what we all have in common.”

When earth is providing me air to breath, water to drink, fruits to eat and trees for shade, I would not greed for more. Greed and wrath never bought good to anyone, it only bought useless yearn which held no value. Think of earth in that way; there would be peace all around. No brothers would fight for money, there would not be a rage for acquisition. The meaning of life would be simple; to enjoy life by consuming what earth provide and not by making earth a grieving globe. I am not mocking the advancements people has made, but are those so and so developments worth it? Is destroying earth day by day the solution to all our problems? I think not. It is making us more medieval. We have lost our way in the midst of getting better. In a latter perspective, if I wanted development; I would develop it in a moderate way. Only necessary things needed would be developed, keeping in mind of earth’s health. I would not make earth sick because of my selfish needs, because we don’t know that we are a small part of something great, something which is beyond our imagination. The very reason we were made existent in this earth is to understand one another and experience love. But now we are more worried about unwanted things. Let us get awake consciously. Let us dream earth the way we wanted it to be in the first place. Let us not dwell upon the mistakes done by others and neglect the important things.
