Welcome to the musings of a guy just trying to figure out where he is and what he is doing before the world rearranges itself around me.
I have a wife and 2 boys, with a little girl on the way. I teach science for a living for the Navy.
My background is in mechanical engineering, but I have always felt the pull of the social sciences. It’s a pain in the rear to know intellectually that most of social science is iffy guesses based on skewed data corrupted by bias researchers, and still be drawn to it. I guess that, just like everyone else, I feel that my view of reality and interpretations are skewed in the direction of truth. Hopefully we will get to it at some point.

It is me. I will be moving back to Idaho soon. How in the heck did you find this? How are you doing? I hope you and your family are doing great. How many kids do you have? We have three kids now. I will probably be working at the INL. Where are you living now? how is Erik doing? I am having an interesting time with this blog. I am just trying to become better at writing. Anyway, let me know.

Well, I sat down at the computer one day and thought, where did Brian go? So I googled the coolest smart guy in the world, and there you were. 🙂 Ok, just kidding, I ended up on Jason’s blog, where your sister Julie had commented. Leaving a trace to her blog, which of course led me here. 🙂 I like your blog!
Anyway, we are doing great. We moved back to Idaho Falls last year. We had been in Norway for 7 years, so it was now or never. Alan works for INL. We have three extremely active boys. (7,4, 22 months.) Eric is doing ok, massive and extreme drama in his life. But he is surviving it. (Mostly divorce, remarriage, custody battle etc.)
So how are you doing? How many kids do you have? Where are you at right now? Which contractor would you be working with at INL? You could always email me 🙂 [email protected]
Anyway, I am glad I found you. When you do move back we should get together and let the kids play. I would love to get to know your wife. Moving back here was a little harder than I thought, but it is a very nice plays to have a family. So I think we hare here to stay now.
Wow, I can’t spell. I guess it is too late for me to practice my English. 🙂 I would go back and edit, but it probably wouldn’t turn out any better. Sorry. I also noticed you said you had three kids, so how old are they?
