Making Sugar Cookies

December 15

Tonight was the night to make sugar cookies!

I had my pantless helper at my side!

 

And a happy helper he was!

 

Grandma Holly and Papa Drew came over part way threw to steal our cookies help us in our efforts.

He gave up after this part. :) So my mom and I frosted them and boy were they yummy!! I tried a recipe off of pinterest (where else?) and it didn't disappoint!

 

Deegan decided to take Griffin's walker for a spin. Funny kid.

 

In the middle of our baking, daddy snuck in the door a couple of hours early and surprised us! It was great surprise! It is so fun as Deegan gets older to do more and more fun things with him. His attention span might not last for the whole project but it's still new and exciting for him.

I gave 2 plates of cookies away and I will most likely be eating the rest myself. It's Christmas so its okay, right?

Griffin at 10 months!

Here are a few fun pics of Griffin over the last week or so. He is now 10 months old!

Such a happy little man! I can't get enough of his chubby cheeks, smiles, and big blue eyes!

 

How he "crawls"

He loves his walker and really cruises and gets around so good!

Some things about Griffin at 10 months!

*Just got his 3rd tooth. (His top right)

*Is ALMOST crawling! He has made major progress this week and will make a couple of crawls (not sure what to call them) and the goes to army crawling. 

*Has been able to go from belly to sitting up for a while. A little backwards since they usually do this after crawling but he has his own plans!

*I found him standing up in his crib for the first time after his nap yesterday. (12/15)

*Loves to give kisses

*So happy!

*He is a busy body but I think that goes with the age

*Likes Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Team Umizoomi

*Gets excited when he sees you getting him medicine

*Just had his 3rd haircut

*Sz 4 diapers, 9-12 month clothes

*Loves his walker and racing around in it to get where ever he wants to go.

*He is such a fun kid! Almost always happy, great sleeper! (10-12 hours every night. 2-3 naps during the day.)

We sure are blessed to have this smiley kid in our family! We have been pretty lucky in the nice baby department so far!

Live Nativity

December 10

 

Just a couple miles from out house they do a live nativity. We went with my mom and uncle Dewey to check it out!

It was a fun little night. We didn't stay too long since it was cold but I am glad we went. I was able to show Deegan more about baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph and all about the Christmas story. He might not remember much of it but ya never know!

Visit with Santa!

December 8

We took the kids to see Santa tonight. It was the same Santa as last year who, is not the greatest Santa ever......

He is a nice Santa but is missing a few teeth and is a tad creepy! :) But the kids didn't mind and still were happy to see him!

Deegan told Santa he wanted cookies for Christmas. I think he was confused about what we leave for Santa. ha ha. But in all honesty, he would probably be thrilled with cookies for Christmas!

Thanksgiving
