My Monkey and Me :)

Before we came to Colorado, I decided it was time to buy a child leash. :) Or "harness" if you like that word better. ha ha. With traveling alone I had visions of Deegan darting across gas station parking lots and other things so I thought it was a good idea. Turns out Deegan loved it! He had to have it with him in the car and even slept with it for a while. He would get mad when I took it off of him to put him in his car seat. This day, he wanted to take the monkey out to play ha ha.

I guess it would be nice to have a friend that automatically goes wherever you go!

Boy- A noise with dirt on it. Yup!

This was at our first location in Colorado. It was called Silt and we were not sad to leave :) Far from home but there were dirt and rocks and so Deegan was a happy camper!

 This little dirt spot was right outside our trailer. It was nice because he could be outside and I could be inside with Griffin and still see and watch him. He LOVED it out there. In this pic he is flinging dirt between his legs.

Easter Sunday

We had a busy Easter since it was also Griffins blessing day! The Easter bunny was nice enough to come visit after church and after nap time to make our day a little less hectic.

 Griffin was THRILLED with his new stuff! :)

 Deegan loved his Dragon Pillow Pet. He calls it a dinosaur and he sleeps with it every night.

 Checking out his stuff. He just woke up and his hair do shows it!

 Then it was off to do some more egg hunting! His uncles Dewey and David his TONS of eggs for him to find.

 He got this pinwheel at the egg hunt the day before and loved it as you can tell.

 Then he was off to ride his bike with papa.

 My mom has this bunny that sings and his ears flap up and down and Deegan LOVES it. His cousin Tayson was wanting to play with it as well and Deegan didn't want to share so the next thing we know, he had taken it out on the deck to play with it. I don't know if you can tell from his face but his is singing along :) He would also bob/shake his head around while the song plays. Funny kid.

And a few more of Griffin! Not sure why they are turned the wrong way.......We had a wonderful Easter Sunday!

Griffin's Blessing Day

We had planned to bless Griffin the Sunday after Easter but when Eric got called out to work in Colorado, we had to make a fast change! So the Thursday before Easter, we made arrangements to have this lucky boy blessed on Easter Sunday.

 Looking handsome in his blessing outfit! I debated whether they should each have their own outfit or to use the same one that Deegan wore. I decided if it fit Griffin we would use the same one and it fit perfectly. Just like Deegan, the shoes are the same ones Uncle Dewey wore when he was blessed.

My cute family! I sure love these boys of mine!

We had a great day. Just immediate family was there since it was Easter and short notice but it was perfect! Eric did a great job. Afterwards we had kneaders french toast complete with caramel syrup, fresh whip cream, and strawberries, little smokies and juice.
