Deegan's First "Real" Dentist Appt!

We took Deegan to a pediatric dentist. He did awesome!

After this dentist we decided to get a 2nd opinion and went to another dentist the next day.

They did an actual cleaning and he was so good!

We didn't get much better of a report but we felt better about this dentist and him being able to do the work in office. Not looking forward to that though!

Outside fun

After Deegan's bath, we joined the other kids outside!

By the looks of Deegan's face, he needs a bath too!

Nilla Wafers

Griffin got a taste of nilla wafers in nursery when we were substituting in there and he loved it! So I let him chow down on a couple at home.

He gets so upset when he drops it. ha ha. He loves these things!

He was a total mess afterwards so a bath was a must.

I cannot get enough of him!

Look at those eyes! Yes, he is the yummiest baby!

Kaden and Thayne

Cousins Kaden and Thayne like to ride their bikes to our house to visit and play for a bit and Deegan loves it! So do I since they entertain him for a good half hour or so when they do! :)

Kaden is so cute with both kids. They love him!

I think you can tell from Deegan's face how happy he is to have them come! Such good boys!

Griffin and the whisk

Griffin loves this whisk! It is easy for him to hold onto, a fun color and for some reason, he loves it!

He held onto it for a good portion of the day. It is almost always with him in the tub too! What a sweet, happy, funny guy!

Potty Training!

August 26

This morning I had Deegan in the tub, and to my surprise and stood up and said he had to pee. So I put him on the toilet and sure enough! This was a good enough sign for me that he was ready! So we started and never looked back :) He did awesome!!

This is how we do it! ha ha

We kind of did our own method with tips from several other methods and it worked for him! I would say after about a week and a half he had it down great! He still sleeps in a diaper and we will do that for a while. Of course he still has accidents occassionaly but over all he did so good! I was dreading it but he made it very easy!

Yay for Deegan! :) And yay for only one in diapers now!!

Trout and Berry Days

August 24

We headed out to Trout and Berry Days! Deegan had a blast on all the bouncy toys!

Not the least bit scared!

 

He loves these things!!

Him and Eric did the trout scramble. All the pics of the scramble are on my phone but Deegan was NOT interested. ha ha. I don't blame him! But daddy caught him a fish, which after this picture, we gladly gave it to a new family that would fry it up and enjoy it. ha ha

Cache County Fair

August 10

Of course we went to the Cache County Fair! I took a million pics!

Deegan got some yummy cotton candy!

We got Deegan an unlimited ride pass and he was able to go on quite a few rides with his daddy!

 

He was so mad the first time he went down this slide because he did not want to go with Eric. ha ha

 

Riding the ferris wheel. He also went on the swings and a couple other kid rides but it was pouring rain so me and Griffin took cover and Deegan's awesome dad took him around in the rain.

As we were leaving, Eric saw that one of the rides (the funhouse thing) that was closed had opened. We were in the car, out of the rain and driving away but Eric pulled the car over and took Deegan back in. Turns out they wouldn't let Deegan in so they rode the slide again but this made me so happy. Deegan is one lucky boy!
