Website update 8th December
French colonial Spahis Cavalry figures, for use from 1908 to 1943 updated, pictures added.
Work on the store continues with some updates and images added to French colonial Spahis Cavalry. These can be used for early WWI to WWII. These were remastered to take separate heads so you can choose either the Turban heads or Steel Adrian helmets when ordering.

I hope to be adding more in this area with Free French mounted and dismounted Legionnaires operating from CHAD into Libya with Colum Le Clerk, Free French Senegalese Tirailleurs & crews and Free French converted Bedford trucks for Colum Le Clerk.

Webstore update 3rd December 2025
The webstore rebuild has started. A whole new range has been added to the EWM webstore for Early war USA Pacific. These are new to the site and our customers. They are mostly from the excelent ranges first produced by Sargent Major Miniatures. 2 years ago, I did some remastering work on a good number of them, removing the heads so as to make them separate head option models. I did also add a new figure with a Lewis gun. So the range is shown and where the “old” is part of the product code, these are the original models which are single piece castings. The new remolded models dont have old in the product code. The 10 man sets are a mix of both types. You can find them here : USA Pacific Archives – Early War Miniatures
There are others to add to the store from my own ranges, lost when the webstore was lost last year. These include Philippian scouts mounted and dismounted, some more support weapons. I have also modelled the Philippian army heads, to go with the early war ranges. These was a sizable Philippian division available and so, when these heads go into production, they can be used on the early War US infantry as webbing and equipment is the same or close.

Its a start, on the rebuild, a rather horrible thing to be doing, but I am the hold up, so I need to get this done. I did a complete clean up and re-organisation of the EWM studio. New desk position, tidy stuff up, in order to create a kind of “conveyor belt approach” to getting all these models, codes and descriptions back on the EWM store.
Next I think will be the massive range of WW2 Italian army including colonial ranges, to the EWM webstore. Many of these were made, but never made it to the old webstore. We have them in stock and at shows, but the store will be updated to show this vast range we have created.

This period of WW2 and the interwar, is unlike many aspects we have seen. It contains many smaller unit battles, colourful units and really interesting wargaming opportunities.

We are at the fabulous Beachhead show in Early February 2026, 7th to the 8th. Peter from Entoyment, friend and show organiser has transformed this show, now probably the biggest and best show in the South of England. Set beside the sea, many thousands attend this show now. I shall be giving a raid talk update as well on the Sunday. Hope to see lots of you there. It is way better than Salute in London, with all its horrible charges to drive in, park, eat etc. Looking forward to being there as we have from day one.

Emerging story of the German Kommando Raid RAF St Lawrence August 1943.
I have plans for a second smaller, ground study, due to start in January 2026. The first Ground study or dig, where we uncovered evidence of the firefight upon exit of the German Kommando force as well as many other objects, is now to be written up in full during 2026. Professor Simon’s will write the introduction and summery and guide me through this reports production. It will detail our investigation works, findings, methods and extent to which the forensics undertaken, have served to create a unique record of this short, sharp raid by German Kommando in August 1943. The hope is to get this report published in an archaeological publication so it can be peer reviewed from across the world. So important is it, the Professor wants it shared across as many battlefield archaeological experts as possible. Once I get a big chunk of the EWM webstore back up and running, I will turn my attention to this awesome project.
I produced some collectable Raid exhibition booklets to support the exhibition. When I built this Mobil exhibition for 2025, it became clear that we did not have enough space to display ALL of the evidence we were uncovering. These Booklets, contain much more information on subjects in the exhibition like A tour in Pictures of RAF St Lawrence, where the raid took place. These will be added to the EWM store shortly. Funds raised from these booklets go towards supporting the exhibition and our research and the museum supporting us.

New models.
The creative juices did start to flow as my model making MO-JO did return late Summer. The German 38T tank master got the SUPERCAST treatment as well as a Campaign version, covered in Stowage. The Marder III h has also ben remade in EWM SUPERCAST. I have created a new small stone bridge in SUPERCAST, which works with our Flexible Streams and Cobbled Lanes models.

We are seeing Tom Lobley in October after Partizan, to collect more of his fine miniature masters that he makes for us. We already have a number of his masters, to be moulded and cast soon. These include late WWI French infantry and cavalry. His latest Masters are of WWI German colonial troops in East and West Africa. I cant wait to see what Tom has made. He is a genius figure master maker.
EWM webstore update – April 2025
First apologies for the lack of updates on the webstore. I have been heavily concerned with the investigation of the German Kommando Raid here on the Isle of Wight. We achieved a very significant point, in particular with some of the finds from the detailed ground study or dig that was done in January 2024. More on that later, but when you find out what it is, you may understand my focus away from the EWM webstore.
So, we have been adding items to the store, albeit slowly. Some new models have also been made, but not in our normal prolific fashion, for the reason of the Raid works. We are at the wonderful Partizan Show in May and look forward to seeing some of you there. Do please pre-order as we can only carry limited stocks of models to the shows.

So, expect more updates in the next weeks as we build towards one of my favourite shows in Newark.

Webstore update 19th November 2024
The rebuild continues but it is taking longer than I thought it would. Thank you to those who have sent their best wishes and orders via emails or telephone calls, your business is much appreciated. The recent additions of new sales product tabs of “rules we sell” and “Scenery” with the Trench systems uploaded now with many pictures.

It was nice to look back over the many pictures taken of these models, in particular the magnificent trench system layout painted and used by Paul Barnet, one of the Crush the Kaiser rules authors.

he built a front and second line trench system in 20mm scale using my Trench model designs, just magnificent.

Paul Even had air battles with 20mm planes flying over the front line trench, as seen at a show at Bovington tank museum.
The trenches are designed to use small rare earth magnets up in the underside seams, fixed. This allows you to create many different trench layouts for games. When I made these designs, I did a short video. Some of the prices are a little off now, but the imagery shows them off to good effect. Designed for 20mm figures in our ranges, mounted on Pennies, I have had 15mm customers use them too. If it works for you, Enjoy. Here is the video link……New model trench systems by EWM Hope you like it.
More updates are going on the store all the time. Cheers
