Update on this past month!

Michael and I have been extremely busy with work and school. Our Halloween and Thanksgiving was not much. We both were working and out of town seperatly. Talk about crazy lifestyles right now! Still, things have been ok. We both have been pretty sick with sinus and upper respiratory infections. Michael is busy with finals and work deadlines. I am busy with my Nursing certification as well as work at the hotel and as a CNA. Right now, we are lucky if we see each other.
We are continuing to remodel our home. Snow has fallen here and it is just beautiful. Christmas is in the air!
We have so much to be grateful for. Michael and I are grateful to have the gospel in our lives. We are so blessed to have each other and to be a family. We continue to pray hard for my Grandfather and have faith all will be well. Trials brings blessings. We love you Fadder!!
"The Greatest Trials of Life are Reserved for the Saints" (unknown).
"Every Latter-Day Saint who gains a Celestial Glory will be tried to the very utmost. If there is a point in our character that is weak and tender, you may depend upon it that the Lord will reach after that and we will be tried at that spot for the Lord will test us to the utmost before we can get through and receive that glory and exaltation which He has in store for us as a people" (James Bucannion).
I really appreciated these quotes that brought some strength, comfort and peace durning trying times that are in my family at this time. Prayer is the passport to spiritual power.

Back from California! September 2007
I had the opportunity to go back to California to visit my family. It was a nice vacation. I enjoyed spending time with the ones I love. We went to Disneyland to celebrate my Dad's birthday. We love Disneyland and we had a blast!! Twenty rides in one day is not bad at all!! I really enjoyed Soaring Over California!! It was so hard to leave. We also went to the beach. I loved it! I put my feet in the water and enjoyed the warm sand between my toes. I got to be with my sister for a week and it was hard to say good-bye. I got to visit my favorite spots-Dewars, In and Out, Sub Station and Mexicalli, just to name a few. It was nice to relax and enjoy some comforting experiences. I love my family and appreciate everything they did, for me, while I was there.

Our Little Bandit
We're Engaged!!
There was a box of See's Candies, on the bench, with a rose on top. I opened the box and inside was the ring box. I about fell down, I was so suprised and thrilled.
We then attended a session, had lunch, then I got on a plane.
