Hi, I'm a newbie! I'm learning my way around, so please be patient with me. I appreciate all the help everyone has offered. So far, this place is really great, and the people here are so nice!

A little about me~ I'm old, and I just returned to school after a 17 year break. I'm studying psychology and plan to finish my Ph.D. in psychology within the next 5 years.

Other than that, I have 3 kids who are all adults, and 3 dogs, who are also all adults, although you wouldn't be able to tell on my littlest dog. She's a teacup chihuahua, and will never be bigger than 8 inches tall from floor to ear tips.

I also have one granddaughter who is 18 months old and just learning how to talk. She's picking up some really great words, you know, the ones that she only says in public when it's most embarrassing...the ones which begin with 'f' and 'sh'. Those words that no little one should know, but somehow seem to pick up from out of the blue even though their mommies and daddies swear (pun intended) they never say swear words...

I've also remarried. He is the love of my life and I wouldn't trade him for all the money in the world. We've been together for the better part of 4 years, but are coming up on our second wedding anniversary.
