The Pufflet egg is remarkably light and has a surface that feels like taught latex.
In its early life, the Pufflet takes on a simple shape resembling a common party favor. It moves with a bouncy gait and tends to congregate in areas where there is a gentle breeze. Young Pufflets are highly curious and will often float toward larger creatures to investigate them.
As it reaches maturity, the Pufflet develops complex appendages and specialized gear. It carries a small bow and a quiver of blunt arrows, which it uses to interact with others from a distance. While these projectiles are harmless, a direct hit is said to bring a sudden sense of joy to the recipient.
