Arkians often find that their coins mysteriously disappear after an encounter with a Glimfrog egg.
Glimfrog eggs are incredibly sticky due to their thick mucous-like coating, and some speculate that the substance may even have a magnetic pull.
Is this the cause for the disappearing coins... or is there perhaps something more sinister at play?
The Glimfrog is commonly associated with greed due to its money theft and hoarding tendencies. In fact, its greed is so strong, it exceeds even the rapacity of the notorious treasure hoarding Dragold.
March is peak time for Glimfrog sightings. They follow rainbow trails and invade the Dragold's Den to swipe gold and keep it for themselves. Some are even cunning enough to trick unsuspecting Arkians into giving away their money. When they are unsuccessful, they resort to pickpocketing.
Nobody knows how it happens, but rumor says when a Glimfrog takes its gluttonous habits too far, they often pay the ultimate price. A curse is placed upon them, and they transform into a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. For the rest of their lives, they are doomed to watch others reap the reward of their lifelong endeavors.
