i’ve decided to host one for my 2nd b-day celebration here! who’s gonna be the one in the spotlight? why, it’s my Amizad, ThresherBeat! of course, BEMANI and the others are part of this too! art contest is the main thing, but there’s an optional section down below if you wanna answer questions instead!

How did you find your favorite color(s)?
My favourite colour is "blurple" (NOT Discord's version... I came up with it before Discord even existed smh) and I got it because I liked blue and purple equally and struggled to choose between them when people asked me my favourite colour. So I just combined the words lol, except in my definition it doesn't mean a combination of the colours (i.e. a purpley blue or bluey purple) but just the two colours separately together.
What do you think is/are the coolest creature(s) on EggCave?
Wayyy too many to choose from, what an evil question 😋 Big fan of the current CSPs though!! Yossun my beloved

(also to @/chaotictreat; the origin of where these terms came from is unknown, but evidence suggests it was used by waiters back in the 1870s-1880s, then diners used them from the 1920s-1970s. they sound more like a U.S. thing if that helps)

How did you find your favorite color(s)? splashing around in ms paint's color picker. i like periwinkle because it's a pastel purple and also the name of a really really yummy snail

College has been a wreck with midterms this week but I managed to finish the art in time. I really wanted to participate after art fight’s lovely exchange of your sona- because she was so fun to draw! So when I saw this contest I knew I had to do something for ya :] 💓🩷

I've had my hands full with commissions and convention busywork but I managed to find enough time to make an entry! It's been so long since I've drawn eggcave critters, probably since elementary school (wow) so this was really fun to participate in. I also ended up making it very, VERY pink 😋 I included ThresherBeat, Love-Shine, Suki-Melo, PinkyCrush, TokyoAllReady and HELL-SCAPER! I was planning on only doing a couple but there were so many cute creatures I couldn't help myself. I took a bit of inspiration from all of their travels for the background as well ^^

woah, the perspective you did here is so cool! the gradual gradient of the bg (with the clouds too, wow) is definitely nice! drawing 6 of the gang in there must’ve been a lot of work, and i adored seeing the difference in size!

(also eyy nice, been listening to J-Core for around 5-6 years (maybe older), and man, they do make some bangers)
