Is there a faster way to do this?
every time I try to do a quest she asks
for two things that are never ever in store.
and I check all day till the 11 hours is up
and I fail

how do I fiish these if they are never in the shop
and user shops are either empty or never have what I need
I really want vending machine pets but I cant get the tokens
at all.

@tsukasayugi
Honestly, .questing can be more difficult for newer players.

I find one of the best ways to do Quests is using my Strongroom, but I do acknowledge I had years of hoarding before quests were introduced and the funds to fill in any holes.

So my recommendation is to build up to it. When you have the ec to spare, start buying at least one of everything you see in the NPC shops at the bottom of the Shop tab in the header (except Trinket Travels and the Bean Sack, as items from these shops are not asked for). This way you can start to build up a stockpile of items. It's as much about the variety as it is about the amount. If your on a computer, if you hover over an item it will tell you how many are on your account (inventory, strong room, shop).

A couple of other things to note:
- Each quests is tied to a shop.
Baked Bun Quests = The Bakery
Going Global = The Travel Agency
Gourmand Quests = General Food Store
Miserable Meltdown = Finley's Flavors
Speed Reading = Leila Library
Toybox Quests = Toy Shop

- Only items currently available in the above shops are requested. So nothing retired and nothing CC.

- Sometimes cancelling a quest is best. The only penalty is waiting one hour to start a new quest of that type (you can still do the other quests though). So if you can't find the items, it's quicker that waiting for the quest to time out.

- Creatures will not suddenly disappear from the VEND machine. We always get 7 days notice they are going to retire. Plus they can always come back again.

@tsukasayugi also, you can buy items you need from user shops. I do this even though I have a huge stockpile in my strong room, sometimes I’m missing something
