Question about Star pets

I noticed sometimes pets have different star colors. Is it random or set per pet? I wasn't sure if there was a rarity to the stars color or not and am simply curious.

You can change the color of the star on star pets (as well as move it) on the Cove page.

Just click the star under your pet's image, its between the "change name" and "manage travel" buttons.

@Orderedchaos Woah! That's cool! Thank you!! I was wondering about it and couldn't exactly find an answer when I tried looking, but now I know and will definitely play around with it on my star pets!
