Something I’m just curious about because I’ve seen it here and there, is why do some people when trading want creatures that don’t have travels over creatures that do? I really like seeing what travels people pick for their creatures, but is there a functional reason for wanting your trade creatures to not be traveling? It’s just interesting to me, so thanks for explaining if you know!

I'm one who prefers no travels. Personally if I wanted a travel, I'd prefer to choose it myself. Though I pretty much prefer none at all, as I have a lot of creatures and I'd want all to have one, which is too much cost and effort. I prefer my creatures all displaying the same, focus on them alone. (I'm not joking when I say I have OCD, maybe that plays a role.)If I had it to do again I probably wouldn't put a travel on my display creature.

@tehuti88 that’s interesting and makes a lot of sense. I do like how the creatures without travels exist without the square border, it looks really nice when they’re just kind of chilling. I don’t have OCD but I do understand the need for things to feel uniform, especially if it’s a curated collection of something. Thanks for explaining, I’ll consider keeping any UFT creatures travel-less for those who prefer it 😊

@jarsha I dislike having a large number (aka higher than 1 lol) of items 'collected' on a creature, and if I trade for a creature that already has a travel on it that I end up replacing.. that's at least 2 items that show up on their page.I'm not the kind of person who will refuse to trade for pets with travels, it's just a personal preference. I have a good few creatures who have multiple items used on them. c:

@raccoon that’s so interesting, does it feel like visual clutter to see your creature has many collected items? I’m really glad to be getting responses about this so that when I trade I can be mindful of people who prefer just the creature without a bunch of extra stuff attached to it.

@jarsha Yes! Visual clutter! Thats the term I was looking for. 😊

@jarsha additionally, the fact that it costs cc to remove a travel probably puts some people off buying travelled creatures if they want the naked look.

@kataclysm I had no idea removal cost cc, wow. That’s a bit ridiculous and seems like something that should be changed honestly. Like abandoning a pet, it feels like there’s no reason that can’t just cost ec. Thanks for letting me know!

@jarsha Travels can be removed for free on the Cove page, just click the "manage travel" icon. It only costs CC if you want the travel back to use again as non-CSP travels are single use items.

@Orderedchaos oh, very relieving to hear thank you so much for clarifying! For a moment I got very anxious about all the travels I placed on my creatures being “permanent” until I can make cc, even though I like them. Really glad to know that’s not the case, thank you. CC to preserve them makes much more sense!

There i go spreading misinformation. I must have misremembered. (: thanks for clearing that up.

@kataclysm no no you’re good! To be fair it was correct haha, just with the added specification that cc is for keeping travels 😊 I’ve been appreciating everyone’s input so much so thank you!
