[BUG CREATURE SUGGESTION] Ramushi 🥤🪲

it’s been a while since i made up a #creaturesuggestion! i’ll admit i usually don’t think up of anything with bugs, so i thought to change up my suggestions this time! named this one the Ramushi (ra-MOO-shee) with it based on a ramune soda bottle, giraffe weevil, and the Japanese word for weevil (zoumushi*)!

*(“mushi” can also mean “bug”, but don’t think too much bout it, i just wanted to make a soda bug)

- name can be changed if necessary!
- any method of growth is fine!
- general info for weight/length can be changed to somewhere on a realistic range
- design can be simplified/altered (if the branding’s too on the nose)
- stage 3 can be changed (as i was having a hard time trying to figure out how to even do a pupa for this), so feel free to make it more consistent
- soda color can be a different flavor (one in suggestion is the default ramune flavor)
- sorry if the anatomy’s off, i don’t draw bugs much!
- originally had this aimed for summer, but off months are fine too!

ty to those who checked this lil’ soda bug out! i’ll admit that this popped up in my head one morning cuz i was like, “y’know what, i bet no one thought up a ramune bug yet”, so i drew it up and tried to make it cool. unfortunately, this one’s been in the back-burner for a long time, so i’ve lost motivation to write up a description. however, i’m willing to see what the staff can write up (if this gets approved)! this one’s prob the weirdest i’ve ever suggested, but hey, i just think it would be neat 👍

@opalquinze ohh it's so pretty, I really like object inspired creatures! And since my fav colors are shades of blue and green it's needless to say I absolutely love the colors used! Hope we will see it in cave soon ❤️

Beautiful and well-done artwork as always, perfect color palette, fun and thoughtful design and name. The original ramune flavor/color is definitely the best choice since it's so classic and easily identifiable. :-D

Stage 1 and 3 (so cozy) are super cute.

My stage 2 preference would be with the wrapper not being held, or, being a smaller piece. I just wanna see more of the adorable grublet and the starry insides!

If chosen, maybe the adult stage can be drawn smaller so it can have its neck extended. That's the fun of the giraffe weevil, after all! x) I also think it'll translate better and be easier to understand.
