Jack-Hourglass
I just heard this song this morning, and had to make a movie with it. I cried when I watched it the first time. besides being in love with my sweet little Jack, I am so in LOVE with this song now. It's Hourglass, by Mindy Gledhill. Check it out on youtube for a better view.

Christmas Morning
Christmas morning was so fun this year. It was really the first year that Jack actually knew what was going on. We didn't put anything under the tree until Christmas Eve when Jack was asleep, so that even just seeing the presents would be fun. Jack loved everything he got and opened all his presents by himself. The only thing I will do different next year is to open and pre assemble all his presents. We literally spent half the morning unscrewing, untying, and unstrapping toys from their boxes...Jack waited patiently every time though. This Christmas was fun too because my Grandma and step Grandpa were at our house for Christmas. It was so fun to spend the holiday with them, and Jack really loved having them around.

Polar Express
On Christmas Eve Eve, we went on the Polar Express (Heber Creeper) with my mom and Grandma and step Grandpa. Jack seriously had a blast! The ride was an hour and half, elves served us hot chocolate, we sang Christmas carols, and every kid to meet Santa and get a gift from him. I was little nervous about the Santa part, because Jack wasn't really about Santa before that. He avoided him like the plague. But then when Santa gave him a toy, and sat down to talk to him, Jack had tons to tell him. When Santa was all done talking to every single little kid on the train he went out the front door, and Jack stood up and reached his hand out for him, and yelled "noooo....Saaa" (that's short for Santa). I almost died it was so cute. So, I would say it was a successful train ride. Plus we got to see some really beautiful scenery. But try not to notice the shabby quality of the pictures that were unfortunately taken with my point and shoot and all turned out really grainy. It sorta hurts my heart that I didn't bring my nice camera.

New Stuff
Hey everyone who still looks at this blog:), check what I've been doing on my other blog, my photography blog.
I'm actually pretty sure that I'm going to be only using that blog pretty soon. So this is your first notification. It's too hard to keep two blogs updated, let alone one... so I am condensing. I'll put my personal posts and my photography posts on that blog together. I hope you all will still check in. And I will for sure do better at posting. I sometimes feel like facebook is taking over the world, and that makes me want to stop doing my blog. But my blog was my first love, and you know how first loves go...its hard to forget them. So anyway, check it out!

Gingerbread Cookies
We made gingerbread cookies a little while ago. It was fun. They turned out cute. They were delicious. My cousin Mary was staying with us after her finals and before she went home to Idaho, so she helped too. Actually she helped more than I did. I was mostly taking pictures. But mary made a turtle cookie and a dog cookie. So cute !

Snowboarding
Yesterday, I went snowboarding for the first time in almost 3 years, since I was pregnant with Jack. When I put my Jacket I cut off the last lift ticket I had...and it said 4/13/2008, So I guess I was like 3 months pregnant. The point I'm getting at is, it's been a long time. And the even better part than going boarding again, was that I got to spend the whole day with my good friend Sunny. Despite all my body malfunctions (mostly my bindings were making my feet hurt really bad, and that's never happened before),we had blast! It was snowing in Park City, but it was a beautiful day! not too cold, and not crowded, and the snow was awesome! Sunny is a rockin' skier, so she was waiting for me a lot, but I think she had fun too. Don't judge...these pictures were taken with my phone. I forgot my camera in the car.
A cool old mining building on one of the runs we went on.

Decorating the Tree
This is Jack's 3rd Christmas, but it's really his first. His first that he has even had a small idea what was going on. He gets so excited about the Christmas lights, the tree, the decorations, the little fisher price nativity set my mom has, and the Christmas movies on TV. It has been so fun! So, here's some pictures of Jack and my mom decorating our Christmas tree.
