Can you guess who is behind the mask??
"I'LL BE HOME FOR (EASTER)" Hey Y'all,   Wow, this is it. My final weekly and final day in the Tampa Florida mission. Time really has flown by. I never thought I would get to this day. I have enjoyed every second of it though in retrospect at least.   So this week was pretty slow. We have had some good things happen. One exciting thing we have been able to do is reach out to some of the members who are less active. We had a man named Brother Mercer. He originally was a little weirded out by our call, but we were able to share a quick message with him and he wanted us to call him back. I hope Elder Memmott can help him well.   We also got to go to Tampa a few times this week which was nice. Elder Porter needed to train the next technology specialist so I got to go on a couple day exchanges with the Carrollwood Elders. It was fun to get to learn from them.   One of the other exciting things that has happened is we had a zone conference over video call which was ...

Day 13 of self isolation. Hey Y'all, I hope you are all doing well in whatever form of isolation you are in. It sure has been crazy here, but we had some chances to escape the apartment which was good. On Tuesday we had district council. It went pretty well. We had to have it over Facebook messenger so that presented it's challenges, but overall it went well. After that we went to the church and finished up our my plan trainings. They had some good advice and I am glad for the chance to start to think of some goals for when I head home next week. Then on Wednesday Elder Porter and I had our final interviews with President Hollingsworth. It was a very spiritual experience. During the middle of mine a stake president called to see if a missionary was on a plane at that moment since he wasn't sure if they were supposed to be going home then or the next day. I am sure he is stressed out of his mind right now. Then we got trapped the rest of the day helping people in the offic...
Day 6 of self isolation M an this has been the craziest week ever. I'm sure you have heard about some of it that has been going on. Never in a million years would I have guessed that this turn of events were going to happen. Last Monday was like our last normal day of missionary work. It started out with both Elder Porter and I seeing the post about how coronavirus affects those and that stateside missionaries would probably be sent home for the next 6 months 3 months early. Since both Elder Porter and I fall into that category,  we both thought we would be going home. Later that night, after reading with Steven since we thought missionary work was just going to continue normally, we had a missio...
Just when you think you have seen everything on the mission! Hey Y'all,   Wow this last week has seemed to be a roller coaster for everyone. I hope y'all are doing good and that you are enjoying having a time to only be with family for a little bit. Who knows, I may be joining y'all sooner than you think.   This last week has been crazy. It started out seeming like it was going to be a normal week. I started out on Tuesday by going on exchange with Elder Holloway in YSA. It was very interesting to be on campus trying to proselyte. One of their main finding tools it to perform a survey. It was awesome to see how good Elder Holloway was doing as this is his second transfer out on the mission.   Then on Wednesday I was back in Dade City. The most exciting thing that happened is we were able to get back in contact with Brandy. We were semi pumped with her possibly getting baptized this weekend, but the odds were against us because the next day when we had the interview...
