Marios and Elenor, our assigned 'church foster parents' brought Rachel and I to Avoca handweavers at Wicklow for lunch last Sunday after service..and then to Greystone where the seaside was. Will post more pictures up if I have more time but look at how happy we were!
For now, I shall summarise with four words:
Indeed, it was wonderful :)

my room is looking 10000000000000000X its normal messy state.
help!! *drowns in a bottomless pit of boxes+clothes+books*
denise has kindly allowed me to store my stuff at her place for the summer tmr so i have to get everything packed up and sealed by 8am tuesday morning. probably take a cab and lug all these boxes.i think her place has a lift. oh please, let her place have a lift! O.O
spent the morning going to uni to get my reference letter and the bank too. rained while i was out. and when i was safely in my room, it stopped. WHY??!!
will be checking more apartments at 5,6 and 8pm. by the time i get home fr running about the city, i'ld be so tired i wont want to move.. and i probably wont keep my hopes soaring high this time with the viewings. been disappointed by very misleading maps, landlords who cant even remember their appointments and too smalll rooms, even a table cant fit in =.="
back to packing, hmm.. how on earth did i manage to accumulate so much stuff in less than a year?? its been only 8 months! feel like just chucking everything out. meh.
wish me luck!

hunting for cardboard boxes from stores is hard work!!
apparently they 'shred them immediately to reduce storage space'. says pc world, tesco, mark and spencers etc. pfft.
finally managed to sequester a couple of lovely huge ones from asia market with yun. yayy asia market! you never seem to fail me! i love you asia market. wait, i remember the time you sold me very expired instant nooodles. and the other time, your veggies shrivelled up and yellowed the next day ive bought them while u insist they were 'fresh'. plus the other time.. okay, ill stop here because it would take a while.
lugged them home and there it is sitting nicely in the middle of my room. when am i gonna fill them with all my stuff to move em to its new temporary house, i dont know. i just keep staring at them and i get happy. wth i know. but let me be wth-ish for a while! for someone who display severe pms-ish cranky syndromes when packing a luggage bag fr kch to kl, this is a good start! congratulate me. now!
im getting nostalgic. one by one my floor mates are moving out. im going to miss living here.ah, was it so long ago? unpacking from my 17hr flight from kl in this then unfamiliar place. anticipating the arrival of my new roommate, wondering how she would be like. hopefully nice like me to find out that shes not coming anymore , so i get this double room eventho im paying half the price :D
kept awake that night and a few nights after, because of the bar just a stone's throw from my apartment. learned to sleep through noise pollution live loud bands who play the same songs over and over each time each week , drunkards shouting around, the sound of smashing bottles. easy peasy.
i love how dunnes (supermarket) is just opposite my apartment. just out my window. and the convenience it brings. milk stolen for the Nth time? no worries, dunnes so near. chicken stolen??? look! dunnes!. okay not funny. i lost count of how many times my food gets stolen from the communal fridge. all of my pizzas, milk, chicken, yogurt etc whoever the thief is, i hope you get poisoned. oops, that was mean of me. fine, i hope you choke. and let it be CLEAR that it DOES NOT hurt to ask. never. would this nice, gentle, lovely soul (ahem) turn you down if u asked for food because you wasted your food money on booze or just being plain lazy to walk 10 steps to dunnes to get your own??? i dont mind sharing my stuff but you dont want to share do youuuu.
and all the meetings held in my room. that 1st online quiz we gotong royonged together. lol. CC practices. planning our roadtrips. movie nights. gonna miss all this. it wont be the same staying so far from each other when we move out :(
extra fan dancing lessons for international night. at rach's/my place/millin basement. ahhhh i think it was int night that really bonded us.
library being 30 seconds away.
having hotel-room phones calling each other for free just by entering our room numbers.
birthday surprises, potlucks, get togethers, cooking meals and getting mad at the money-eating laundromat at millin basement.
yeah, ill miss this, the good, the bad..
the memories are for keeps but its time..
time to make new ones.
