End of Summer Weekend Escape
As a stay at home mom, summer is so so so fun, until the very very end, usually the last 5 days when I am so done feeding everyone all day long and being the #1 entertainment. I'll take it anyway and would not have it any other way but by the end of the summer, I just need a break where no one needs me...like at all. So, I called my sister Cami and asked her if shed like to join me for a weekend of nothing. She said yes! My dad was out of town so we ended up staying at his house and doing Santa Cruz and Monterey. Tim and Sara joined us for a car show and dinner in Monterey. All in all, a great get away!
Evan is eleven!
Breaks my heart that this sweet boy of mine is 11 and growing up. So thoughtful, empathetic, kind and sensitive. He wanted to go to an escape room. They were successful and got out!
