 Playing outside in the last of the spring weather, before the humidity and heat of the summer set in.  

Baking Pavlovas.  I have always wanted to try these.  They are basically baked meringue, which is a bit crunchy on the outside and soft like a marshmallow on the inside.  The recipe I used was super sweet so I could only eat just one.

it's been a whole year!

It has now been one year since Dahlia has had to be admitted to the hospital!  Her last hospital stay was a surgery to have her g-tube placed.  Although we initially were against having the g-tube placed, it has helped her put on some good weight and kept her out of the hospital.  The above photos were taken right before her surgery; she had gotten so underweight.  For awhile there she was being admitted about every other month.  Those hospital stays are never fun, so it has been so nice to have long break!  Hopefully this new trend continues!
