What People Are Saying
“The magical/folklore/numinous quality of it. Also the Englishness of it; there's something about the English view of the wildwood that I find really stirring. Also, your work is very free and 'unconscious', not too 'thinky', if that makes sense. It has a refreshing vitality to it that gets to something real.”
— Anne“Its dreamlike quality. Sometimes we see the most when we're on the knife edge between the waking and sleeping worlds. We're not walking on either side of the gauzy curtain, but through it, and some things exist only in that place. With your art, we're able to see inside the curtain, not just past or in front of it. Finding out what's half-dreaming along with us is a fascinating journey.”
— Mark“My favourite books growing up were highly detailed illustrated children's books, like the books illustrated by Michael Hague and Alan Lee. I don't see all that many books like that anymore and your work evokes a similar feeling when I look at it. I also like the imaginativeness that shines through your charming creatures, they tend to have interesting textures and wonderfully expressive eyes.”

Original Paintings
You might have a cosy little place in your house which you’d like to adorn with something magical.
From ethereal unicorns to magnificent dragons and the silliest of monsters, you’ll find them all here.
“Watercolour is a challenging but incredibly rewarding medium to work with. It is exciting and mercurial in nature and requires patience, planning and a lot of fast decision making”
Own A Little Piece Of Magic
There is always a little droplet of magic about the making of a painting.
Sometimes I sit down to paint and everything goes right and it just flows right out of me, almost without having to think.
All my experiences, dreams and loves combine, and something new appears on the paper that never existed before!

'A Rare Sighting' - The forest unicorn of Strangehollow is an elusive creature. It is not mortal like its namesake in the mountains, it is enchanted, one of the many fae beings in the forest. Nothing can harm it, not even magic, and any creature in its immediate presence will also be immune to harm. They are often followed by Will ‘O’ The Wisps which are drawn to their peaceful nature.

Of Whimsy
The world needs art more than ever. When huge corporations are trying to persuade people that they don’t have to go through the uncomfortable process of learning or creating and instead just press a button, I am going to keep making art with my hands.
If you love what I do and would like to support me in my endeavours then this is where you can do it! You can choose a one off donation, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually!
This will go towards my materials, expenses and my time, which will give me the ability to continue creating new myths and magical creatures.
