So my sister has been couponing for several years, and has been helping me save tons with diapers and wipes ever since last year when we found out I was pregnant. But I've finally decided to invest the time and energy into becoming a couponer and do my own research, sunday paper buying and planning to get awesome deals on every day things I know we will need. This way I can stock up early when things are super cheap and save us big money in the long run. I'm loving the Krazy Coupon Lady. The only problem I have is that Portland is a test market for Reward Points, instead of receiving Register Dollars, at Walgreens, so a lot of the fabulous deals she gets at Walgreens I have to ditch, because I don't get the Walgreens dollars back. Kinda stinks, but I deal.
So here is my first attempt at being a couponista. Not a big haul, but still just beginning. And honestly, trying to do this with a crying child is rather hard, so I have to slip in the time when I can. Anyway, all this for $8.45:

All Gleek-ed Out for Halloween
Yes, for this year's costumes we took our inspiration from GLEE! Of course Eli is too small for trick-or-treating. But we had a ward party on Saturday night that we dressed up for. Here is how we looked:
Check out who one 1st prize in the costume contest!:
{If you haven't figured it out yet: David--Mr. Schue; Emily--Sue Sylvester; Eli--Noah Puckerman "Puck"}
Check out who one 1st prize in the costume contest!:
{Everyone loved the Mohawk. Fuzzy fabric held on with Karo Syrup!}
And rather than trick-or-treating, here is how we spent our Halloween night:
{A Mummy Calzone for dinner}
{And of course, Pumpkin Carving. A bit late, but at least we got to do it!}
Happy Halloween!
