In your pod of four, you will solve a social problem important to you. The idea must be feasible and creative since you can't solve a real problem without both aspects. At the end of the event, you'll deliver a feasibility pitch along with a technical demo to the judges for your shot at $1000.
Coding without feasibility is just a hobby, and creation without technology is often impossible. Since it's not often that STEM students and non-STEM students get the chance to work together, it's hard to create lasting, impactful innovations at current university events. Hopefully, this event will change that, allowing you to create your own 24-hour startup.
