How do I filter out spam email?

We offer highly effective, server-side spam filtering. This ensures that unwanted junk mail is blocked before it ever reaches your inbox or email client.

Enabling Spam Filters in cPanel

To enable and manage your spam protection:

  1. Log in to your cPanel.
  2. Navigate to the Email section.
  3. Click on Spam Filters.

Our servers use advanced technology to analyze and intercept junk mail before you receive it. You can customize the strictness of the filter by adjusting the spam threshold score to suit your needs.

Additionally, you can use the Whitelist feature to guarantee delivery from trusted senders, and the Blacklist feature to permanently block specific email addresses.

Important Considerations

  • Check your spam folder periodically: Spam filtering isn't flawless. Occasionally, legitimate emails might be incorrectly flagged as spam (false positives).
  • Beware of phishing: Conversely, some sophisticated spam or phishing attempts might slip through (false negatives). If an email looks suspicious, contact the supposed sender directly through a trusted, alternative channel.
  • Never reply to spam: Replying to a junk email only confirms to the sender that your email address is active, which will result in you receiving even more spam.
