Do you ever feel like life is just slipping away from you? Like it is maybe even speeding up but somehow you are moving in slow motion? Like you can't quite grasp hold of it, yet it is right there in front of you??
Well, that's my life lately.
I can't believe how fast this summer went. Yet, at the same time it seems like we have done a lot. I feel like I have been busy with projects all summer and haven't really had time to enjoy it. But I have still had a ton of fun times. I know I'm contradicting myself but that's how it feels.
Here are some of the things we have been doing this summer.
In no particular order........actually they are not in any order at all. They are kind of just a mess! I don't feel like rearranging them!! :)
I cleaned out the "junk" room and moved Kaiden into it.! It was a lot of work but sooooo worth it!
We went to a few family reunions! (Most of which I did not take pictures)
Each of the kids did swimming lessons. (Kelsey is the one in the purple suit on the other side of the bar)
Just a cool picture that I took. (You like it too hu? I knew it!!)
Went to the fair. Keira road the "Puke-a-tron" with my friend Michelle because I wouldn't go on it with her. Just the thought of it makes me sick.
Made a quick trip to Lagoon and Lagoon-a-beach!
I rode and got the Air-Chair on the foil!!! (more than once) Which was surprisingly fun!
What a stud!!
Took Shane and Michelle and family to the lake with us! The kids had a blast! We must do it again!
My sister had her new baby! Jaxon! Isn't he soooo cute! Oh it makes me so baby hungry!
Moved Keira into Kaiden's old room. It turned out really cute! I love the "Caribbean blue" color. I think I could paint my entire house that color and never get tired of it. Ok, maybe not NEVER get tired of it, but I do love it!
No pictures of Kelsey's room yet because I am going to be doing that this winter!
Eric did a lot of this!!
We went with my parents and sister's family to the Bar J Wranglers. We had so much fun!
Kaiden has been trying to ride the Air Chair and is really doing well. Eric built him a seat that attaches to the front of the normal seat so that he can reach the foot straps! He is going to be way better than me soon. (Not that that's hard)
The girls just couldn't get enough of Jaxon at the hospital. Do you blame them?
Sisters/Best Friends
We decided to remodel our house. (Instead of build, this economy scares me) More photos coming as we go. But here is Eric putting tin on our new roof!
I went on a hike with the scouts!!
We camped a lot! This time Tylee and her family came with us! Kelsey loves Tylee!!
Some of the best memories are made with mud!! I know most of mine are!!
Kelsey had started her own fashion line!! Although it changes every 10 minutes or so!
We spent a lot of time on the lake! Duh!
Went to the 4th of July parade!!
Keira's swimming lessons. In the deep end! She did awesome. I don't have any pictures of Kaiden at swimming lesson because he got to ride the bus to the Jackson Rec Center with the school enrichment program. He had so much fun. Of course it didn't help that his cousins Shawn and Ryan got to go with him!
Kelsey figured out how to "braid" her hair all by herself and she does it really well!!

Well that was our summer! In a nutshell! Hopefully as school starts things will slow down just a bit so that I can post more! Hopefully!
