The BD releases of Asobi ni Ikuyo came with a bonus OVA episode which, to my delight, turned out to be packed with catgirl nudity! Throughout the episode, the entire female cast (including the lolis, thankfully) play a series of games in which the loser has to strip their clothing. Things start off nicely with strip mahjong, escalate in a bout of strip poker, before Kio blows them all away in a game of rock-paper-scissors!
The second and final episode of this outrageous comedy anime from the director of Excel Saga, featured fanservice of a different kind. In an extended sequence, the villain captures the entire female cast and teases them with every kind of bondage cliche! It’s played both for the ero-factor and as a gag, making for good fun indeed.
The third episode of the Mai Otome OVA series, Zwei, finally gave in to the desires of fans and let slip a little service with an onsen/bathing segment! While it starts out quite tame, a bit of alchohol and a stolen bikini soon has things heating up! While this was the first (and I think, only) time HiME gave us nipples in its fanservice, I’m still disappointed that we didn’t get to see Arika’s!
The first season of Strike Witches offered some tantalizing visuals of its cute, young female cast every episode! Most of the time, pantsu and swimsuits was the order of the day, but the 7th episode upped the ante by showing off some great nopan service!
The scene is set with Erica, who wakes to discover she can’t find her underwear!
Nice and breezy!
While the others are bathing, she sneakily obtains Luccini’s shimapan.
Luccini comes out of the bath first to find hers missing – and decides to pinches Yoshika’s! Perrine, on the other hand, tries to go nopan, but finds it too embarrassing.
Her next idea is to use her beloved Mio’s sukumizu!
Later, they try to resolve the situation, and when Luccini’s thievery is revealed, they give chase!
Luccini also meddles with Sanya and Eila, as Eila!
When the alarm is (falsely) sounded, Yoshika and Perrine face the prospect of going into battle without their pantsu
Luccini’s punishment is our reward! Loli butt!
Meanwhile, Erica flaunts her stolen shimapan!
C3, or Cube X Cursed X Curious is a new TV-anime adaptation. It follows a tested anime routine: fairly typical male student living alone ends up with a quirky and mysterious young girl cohabiting his place. There’s also a rival childhood-friend type character for good measure! But the series is charming because it pulls off its premise really well! The main heroine is a loli, and is really adorable! There’s plenty of panty-shots to spice up the scenes, and the gags are also quite funny! One highlight was the two girls meeting each other for the first time and almost instantly entering a verbal punch-up, with breast sizes being the weapon of choice.
As you can see, this is one for Shimapan fans!
