Among all of humanity, mages are the closest to divinity, but that closeness led them first to disillusionment, then the eerie realisation of what divinity is truly like. The Elder Gods serve to put a perspective to terms often applied to gods. All powerful and all present? Possibly, but what does that mean when an entity is unwilling to act?

Sometimes the writings of mages sound like rambling, but they may still have some meaning, in the right context. Humanity is among the Children of the Cosmos, those living things that posses a “soul”. Even amidst the vast expanse of space and all of the alien races inhabiting the universe, humanity is special, in its own way.

Ghosts exist because there is someone to remember the person and miss them enough to manifest the entity. But what happens when the whole consciousness grid of a world collapses at once? What happens when a single tragedy wipes out the sum total of life basking in a sun’s warmth? The Black Suns are wounds in the very fabric of reality, through which the dreaming mourns.

Several of the recent texts described different aspects of and different perspectives on entities we could call undead, including ghosts. This brief expert touches upon something different but still related to the subject. Something not that as sinister… or is it?

The previous text posted contained a more detailed look into a specific instance of something that can be called a zombie. But the term is only descriptive, there are different ways in which a body can be controlled, manipulated and used by an entity, possibly even of cosmic origin. This work enumerates over recent cases of that exact nature.

Corporal undead do not exist, it is simply impossible due to the precise definition under which mages work. But that doesn’t mean there are no zombies. After all, whatever the reason for it might be, a zombie is just a human corpse animated by an outside force. Some of these forces can be quite horrifying, in different ways to just your run of the mill zombie virus.
