christmas morning

Here are a few pictures from our Christmas morning. Thanks to Grandmas and Grandpas and cousins for all the great presents that the kids are currently sleeping with so they don't miss out on one second of play time. We love you all! Merry Christmas!

christmas afternoon

After a fun Christmas morning we loaded up and went skiing all afternoon. The kids slept all the way to the resort and since it was lunch when we arrived we quickly ate in the car so we wouldn't have to stop or haul all the food up the to the lodge. Then we enjoyed a beautiful day on the mountain. It was so incredibly warm! And the kids even got to see Santa on the mountain skiing. "What a silly Santa!" Neil said. Drew loved that even Santa knew the best way to spend Christmas- skiing with the fam at the Ghee.

This is a fun little run off of Shoshone called "Bobsled". There is a entrance gate with a bell that you can ring before you head down the run. This is Keith trying to hold poles, gloves, cameras, and film Drew racing down the run. When the family comes for New Years Drew wants to race all of you to establish who is the bobsled champion 2010. Get your game on . . .

ski update

We have been having so much fun at Targhee. The boys are skiing great. Better than we imagined they would this early in the season. Here is a small sampling of our fun day on Saturday-






Our kids think poles are the coolest. So we let them have a try for the last run. They'll grow into them right? :)

ski day

Today Neil, Drew, and I had our first ski day as a threesome. Last week Neil skied without his harness off the Shoshone lift at Targhee. That is the beginner lift with only green ski areas. So today I felt brave and confident enough in the boys skills to try a ski day without Keith's help.
We did great! Drew was able to get on and off the lift by himself and Neil was able to take off his edgy-wedgies and ski top to bottom. Great job boys! It also helped that we were literally the only people on the little lift today. The lifties were cheering for the boys and made the day so fun for us.
Thanks Keith for providing us so many wonderful opportunities. We can't wait to show you all our new tricks on Saturday!
And if you love to ski and want some good snow come visit. We are enjoying new snow almost every day and we have the place to ourselves. Get it while it's good before Christmas. Becky, we can't wait to have you this weekend!

I am the last of all my posting buddies to post some Halloween pics so here they are. I guess it's true, Mary, that all blogs are required to have a Halloween post.
In case you were wondering. We have Nephi and a monkey. They were super cute and got LOTS of candy. Thanks to all our great friends for making their night great!

We have had a beautiful fall. A few weeks ago Becky and Andrew came up for a visit so we went hiking up Teton Canyon. Here are a few pics.

A few weeks ago we spent the morning at Targhee. We rode the lift up and hiked with the kids for a while. What a beautiful place we live in!
