The first day of our European adventure was pretty much all travel. 11 hours from San Fran to Heathrow – a bus to another London airport – a several hour layover – and then another flight – to Athens this time, a metro ride downtown, and finally checking into our hotel.
Athens – as it turns out – is a huge city, with the majority of Greeks residing within its boundaries.
