Ok – I will admit that we really arrived in Rome yesterday, after about 21 hours of travel (slight flight delay in Montreal) plus a slight train snafu (it didn’t seem to say express anywhere so we were a bit surprised when it skipped every stop including ours and went straight into the center of Rome – not where we are staying) – so we sadly missed all of the awesome activities that Jamie had planned for us and collapsed in the hotel room. Hence I have decided not to count it, and we will start with today: St. Peter’s Basilica.
