Congrats @GaminDude2000
I can imagine this case is simular to all Bethasda games...
Tune in next week for the best FALLOUT MEMES!
Alright so I recently got fallout 3 (this is my first playthrough) and I want to know how to earn infinite caps just like you do in FNV. Also, can anyone recommend me some good early game loot?
I don't care about general opinions but the question is for your build specifically.
Post your best fallout memes
They must be:
Fallout related
No type of real life discrimination
Bassicly if you have to think: "should I post this, this could be offensive." Then dont post it.
Its crazy to me how much each Bethesda Fallout game has such a distinct vibe. 3 is strong on Americana vibes but desolate and hopeless. New Vegas has obvious "chance" vibes with cowboy esthetic. 4 is a bit of Americana but it is very strong on rebuilding and hope of a future. 76 is drenched American folk lore. Feels like more mysterious. Hell, the game, from the beginning, you were literally trying to solve the mystery of the scorched. Then, you add all the crypids and whatnot.
Its just so cool. Im so excited to see what the future holds.
Ok so I've been kinda obsessed with New Vegas lately, and I've been trying to come up with the best possible outcome for the Mojave. I've always thought it'd be NCR or House, since most characters, factions, and towns are better off with NCR or House (with few exceptions, like Goodsprings), while others are unaffected by the outcome altogether.
Anyway, here are the best courses of action in my opinion:
Kill Samuel Cooke, Eddie, Motor-Runner, Cook-Cook, Violet, and Driver Nephi
Complete "Volare!" and "I Could Make You Care"
"Crazy, Crazy, Crazy" - Repair Rhonda and free Raul
"Old School Ghoul" - Tell Raul to become a gunslinger again
"For Auld Lang Syne" - Have the Remnants aid the NCR, and have Arcade return to Freeside
"Heartache by the Number" - Expose Gloria and Alice without killing them
"You Can Depend on Me" - Steal the Gun Runners' manufacturing specs
"For the Republic, Part 2" - Have Papa Khan break alliance with Legion, and replace him with Regis
"Guess Who I Saw Today" - Pass Keene's Speech check (or let him leave), and pass Dr. Henry's Science check (or have him keep testing on Lily)
"Lily and Leo" - Have Lily take her meds at half-doses
"Nothin' But a Hound Dog" - Use Rey's brain
"Flags of Our Foul-Ups" - Use Mags' advice
"Come Fly With Me" - Don't sabotage the rockets
"I Forgot to Remember to Forget" - Have Boone make amends over Bitter Springs
"My Kind of Town" - Make Primm Slimm the new sheriff
"ED-E My Love" - Take ED-E to the Followers, then to the Hoover Dam battle
"Return to Sender" - Don't expose Hanlon
"Kings' Gambit" - If sided with NCR, have the King stop violence against NCR citizens. If sided with House, then don't stop said violence, but kill Pacer, and also Kill Elizabeth Kieran and her forces in "G.I. Blues"
If sided with NCR, form a truce between NCR and BoS, and have the Followers support NCR
This is my first attempt to chat with people here
I don't usually like remakes (I mean just look at what they did to my boy Resident Evil), but the Fallout games being remade may do quite well. The games haven't exactly aged like wine, at least from a technological standpoint. If I ran Bethesda and owned the Fallout IP, I'd have the games (FO1, FO2, FO3, NV, Tactics) remade in a modern engine, maybe one akin to FO4, or one that allows cutscenes.
Also, for consistency's sake, FO3 would have the FO4 version of weapons (the 10mm pistol for example), while the West Coast games would have the FO3/NV versions. Despite being quite old games now, I'd still want the FO3/NV graphics spanning the remakes, with characters looking the same as they do in FO3 & NV. Though I'd still rework the Arroyo Elder so she doesn't look 90.
I know it goes without saying, but non-voiced characters would get voice acting. Moreover, some NV characters (such as Oscar Velasco) would get new voice acting, due to their original actors doing a shoddy job thanks to being rushed. I'd also want Josh Sawyer to voice Bruce Isaac and the Lonesome Drifter. I seriously have no idea why he didn't just do that already, since he did their singing voices.
I'd also restore the games' cut content; I myself quite like Rotface's Loose Lips. I'd also very much like for the maps to be life-size, instead of having small cities and whatnot. I'd also want guns to have better and more realistic reloading animations. Some mods do a great job of that. Also, maybe clothes should be separated by gender, like in FO4? Like, if a female character wears a man's suit, it doesn't magically become a dress.
Also, when characters are 'naked', they wouldn't be wearing a shirt, only underwear - like in FO4. It's always been odd that a Raider wearing shirtless armour with a strap, suddenly grows a T-shirt when I strip his corpse. Ok, brainstorming over, what do you think? Good idea, bad idea? What would you do instead?
Why isn't the Courier bald at the start of NV? Y'know, the brain surgery?
When buying fallout merch, Jones soda (which has previously sold Nuka Cola products) has released new Nuka Orange and Nuka Cherry sodas, they have been out for a bit . however nothing is mentioned about these in the 'behind the scenes' section of the fandom page for it, like it is for the Nuka Cola Quantum.
I belive this is also true for the Nuka Victory and Nuka Grape sections.
Interesting bit of technological trivia about the green/brown filters on FO3 & NV
I’ll do better, especially since I got banned from the subreddit for being childish. Anyways. wanna start Meme Monday again on fridays? I just learned how to use wojaks
Yeah you didn't see it wrong. Institute Plasma Blaster does 14(ballistic)+14(energy) damage per shot. Gatling Laser does 14 energy damage per shot.
By default IPB has a standard emitter equipped, the standard emitter doubles the energy damage but turns the fire rate to 90 and clip size to 250. DPS wise not impressive but can be helpful early game when cores are in short supplies.
And once the player gets science 1 perk, high rate emitters can be crafted. The high rate emitters removes energy damage bonus but returns the fire rate to the insane 272 and the clip size to 500. This essentially allows the use of a double dps Gatling Laser early game.
And don't use the other emitters, those are suicide options.
IPB is changing my early game strategics from getting rich and getting splattercannon asap to just find the dealer for the blaster. (no need to find the unique one since the effect is just a double damage incendiary prefix)
The blaster is so good as a panic weapon and general purpose weapon with it's fast fire rate and large clip size. It's better than splattercannon throughout the game overall since it can be obtained much easier and for free, and can equip a recon scope to identify the targets.
Also the gun just feels badass to use, it's like something straight out of a terminator movie.
Once the player reaches end game Advanced Injector Centrifuge high rate emitter blaster still offers 70% more dps than a Overcharged standard barrel Gatling Laser without damage boosting legendary prefix.
