Good Bye 2006 and Welcome 2007

Well, looking back at the things that happened in year 2006, many things happened..

Things that I've achieved/done:

1. Getting baptised =D
2. Having a closer walk with God =D
3. Learning bass to play for God =)
4. Helping Vacation Bible School (VBS) =D
5. Not failing any subjects for any exams (45 is also a pass >.<) =)
6. Having the chance to take Bible Knowledge for SPM =)
7. Learning more and more things.... =)

Things that I feel I should have done:

1. Attend FBC youth camp (my church) T.T
2. Attend FGA youth camp (friend invited) =(
3. Getting more involved in Church activities/ministries (youth, worship team, missionary trip to cambodia) =(
4. Form a little christian band (its just for the fun of jamming, and worshiping God at the same time) =(
5. Learn electric guitar =(
6. Studied harder for exams T.T
7. Take things more seriously (Yes. I'm VERY playful. And no, just playful as in childish) =(

Well, above all, I've learnt to trust God more and more. As my very good friend in church, Kenneth blogged:

So, my new year resolutions I have for 2007 are:

1. Having a closer walk with God
2. Learn electric guitar (any friends willing to give free lessons? >.<)
3. Scoring at least 11As for SPM
4. Study HARDER!!

ok, basically, I have alot of new year resolutions, but these are the things I really must do. Small me; big dreams.

Many of us have many dreams in the to-do-list, but where and when will they start?

World Wide Wait

Instead of WorldWideWeb (www), it is now WorldWideWait due to some earthquake in Taiwan that caused damages to the cables undersea. Many countries will be waiting and hoping for proper internet connection in the mean time. I heard it will take approximately 2weeks. Thus, it is WorldWideWait =)

PS: It is not really a world wide thing. Not everyone will face connection problems, I do face it 99% of the time =(. To those on the same boat as me, cheers!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

The most special thing abt christmas is not the presents, roast turkey or the family reunions, but instead its JESUS'S BIRTHDAY!!

HAPPY 2006th BIRTHDAY JESUS!!! =D

Yahoo!! its Christmas... sent out LOTS of smses at 12am 25/12/06 ^^, but only got few replies =(, probably its becoz it was 12am.. yes 12AM, way pass many ppl's bed time. But then again.. who sleeps so early on such a special day! though there wasn't any grand count downs like the ones during new year, but its definately worth staying up late to do a simple count down with friends and family (or alone in my case T.T)

My quiet time passage today from Our Daily Bread Devotional booklet, entitled A Fitting Present really was a passage worth reading, even for non-christians. It says that the best gift to give to Jesus on His birthday is ourself. Giving yourself to Jesus also means trusting Him as ur personal Lord and Saviour. Believe it or not, the gift you'll get back in return is eternal life!!

Thats enough for now. If you are really interested giving yourself to Jesus, find a church (I recommend First Baptist Church, Pantai, PJ coz its the church I attend!! =P) to attend and talk to the elders there. If you're having any questions or problems, talk to them too. I'm 101% sure they will be more than willing to help you with any questions or problems you have.

FIRELESS FLAME

According to the Little Oxford English Dictionary:
Fire: the light, heat, and smoke produced when smth burns..
Flame: a glowing stream of burning gas produced by smth on fire..

In other words, fire produces flame and fire is the origin of flame(if i got it right).
Fireless flame simply describes most of us, being without our origin, God. So this blog will constantly remind myself (and perhaps readers) that God is the center of my(our) life(lives).


PS: This is not really a religious christianity blog. I just liked that name because it's somehow meaningful to me.
