You can extend the payment deadline with one click from your dashboard. Payments that arrive within 24 hours of creation are still detected and confirmed automatically — your customer does not need to create a new request.
Yes. Pending payments can be marked as cancelled from your dashboard at any time before they are confirmed on-chain. Once the required confirmations are reached, the payment is finalized and cannot be reversed through FiroGate — on-chain transactions are immutable.
Yes. FiroGate connects to a Firo Core node you control. Your node generates the payment addresses, reads the blockchain, and holds the wallet keys. FiroGate is the orchestration layer — it monitors transactions and provides the merchant dashboard and API.
In the self-hosted version, funds go to addresses managed by your own Firo node and gateway. When using the hosted service, FiroGate holds funds in the gateway wallet until you request a withdrawal. You control when and where funds are withdrawn.
Typically 5 to 10 minutes. FiroGate requires 2 block confirmations by default, which is approximately 5 minutes on the Firo network. You can adjust the required confirmations in your settings to trade off between speed and security for your use case.
