London's Run
I did my first 10k last Saturday. I did it with my sister Lora, nephew Zack and friends Julie, Scott and Bonnie. My time was 1:03:33. I was hoping for an hour , but I'm happy with the time I got. I'm also glad I ran the whole thing. There were a few times a wanted to walk but I didn't want to give up, I knew I could do it.
Here we are after our race.
(by the way: Zack did the 1/2 marathon)
Pinewood Derby
Here is Levi with his Pinewood Derby car. Guess what, I helped him with it. It's my first one I've ever done, can you tell? We went online to find designs we could do. He was finding ones that would be too hard for me, then we found the truck one and I thought that would be the easiest one because it had straight cuts. It was pretty easy. Maybe next time I'll try to do the harder ones.
He got third place!!

Youth Olympics
Our ward along with Desert Palms Ward is no longer part of the Glendale North Stake, we are now in Glendale Stake. The Sunday we found out the news we also found out that our new stake has Youth Olympics throughout the month of January and it was starting the following Tuesday. Yikes!! Our youth were excited and ready to go!! Glendale Stake was very welcoming and all the kids made new friends fast. Everyone had a blast with Youth Olympics!

Music = Dancing
I love music. I love dancing.
I grew up always having music on in the house, ecpecially when we were cleaning. I will dance whenever and wherever I hear music. I like to listen to music when I run, but sometimes my running turns into dancing. I love going out with my sisters and we'll be shopping and a song comes on that is "danceable" (ya, it's a word!!) and we just break out in dance. Ya, we might get funny looks, but who cares? We don't.
I think we get our love of dancing from my mom. Check her out below. Shhh. Don't tell her I put this on here. ;)
