Fred DuVal
Fred DuVal is an entrepreneur, civic leader, advisor, and author. He founded DuVal and Associates in 2001, where he serves as President. His firm specializes in government affairs and policy advisory, working with various clients across healthcare, energy, infrastructure, and finance industries. Through his firm, he provides expert guidance to organizations navigating the complexities of government relations in Washington, D.C., and state capitals. DuVal has had a long and distinguished career in public service, particularly in higher education. He is currently in his second term as a Regent for the Arizona Board of Regents, a role he has held since 2007. He made history as the first individual appointed to the Board by both Democratic and Republican governors. During his time on the Board, he served as Chairman in 2011 and 2023. His leadership has been focused on advancing initiatives that improve access to higher education, increase affordability, and enhance accountability.
