Formidable Forms
Forms Bridge now offers integration with Formidable Forms. This means you can bridge your Formidable Forms to any backend or service you want using HTTP requests, leveraging the full power of Forms Bridge’s custom fields, mappers, and workflows. This integration supports both the free and pro versions of the plugin.
Formidable Forms is the latest addition to the family of form builders supported by Forms Bridge, which already includes Contact Form 7, GravityForms, Ninja Forms, WPForms and WooCommerce.
The decision to include Formidable Forms as an integration was made after collecting responses from the poll on our documentation page. We’ve updated this poll to include new integration candidates. If you’d like Forms Bridge to support any of them, don’t you hesitate to cast your vote!
WPForms Lite
Since version 4.2.4, Forms Bridge has only supported the paid version of WPForms. WPForms is an excellent starting point for creating web forms in WordPress, but the free version of the plugin has some limitations when building more complex forms: it doesn’t support file uploads or advances fields like dates, hidden or URL fields. This has been a limitation to our templates system, as some templates require these types of fields in order to function properly.
However, in this release, we’ve decided to support WPForms Lite—even though the functionality of some of our bridge templates may be affected. Reducing barriers to using Forms Bridge remains a priority for us.
