The EcoFlow WAVE 2 is a terrific Smart Device to make outdoor life more comfortable on the hot days and evenings. The portable air conditioning can be taken anywhere my adventures take me. 🌡️ Why Choose the EcoFlow Wave 3 Over the Wave 2? 🔋🔥❄️

As global temperatures become increasingly unpredictable and extreme weather events more frequent, staying cool during a heatwave or warm during an unexpected cold snap is no longer a luxury—it’s a matter of preparedness and safety. This is where portable climate control solutions like the EcoFlow Wave series come in. And now, with the release of the EcoFlow Wave 3, users are given an even more powerful reason to upgrade from the Wave 2.👍-Faster & Stronger CoolingThe EcoFlow Wave 3 has been engineered for improved cooling performance. This matters when you're camping off-grid, living in a van or facing power outrages.👍-Quieter OperationEcoFlow listened to customer feedback and designed the Wave3 to be quieter. This is a major upgrade, especially if you're usingit in small spaces like tents, RVs, or in the bedroom.👍-Eco Mode = Smarter Energy UseWave3 introduces a smarter "Eco Mode", allowing the unit to adapt cooling power to match the environment, conserving energy without sacrificing comfort.👍-Better IntegrationBoth the Wave 2 and Wave 3 work well with EcoFlow's power stations.👍-Heat + CoolLike the Wave 2, the Wave 3 is a dual-function device—capable of both cooling and heating. But the Wave 3 does it more effectively and with more user customization, making it a true all-season companion.👍-Built for Climate ChaosIt’s no longer “if” extreme heat or cold will impact you—it’s when. Climate change is already triggering: Record heatwaves-Grid failures-More frequent wildfires and storms.-Record heatwaves-Grid failures-More frequent wildfires and stormsConclusion: Assurance in Uncertain Times. The EcoFlow Wave 2 was a revolutionary unit for its time—but Wave 3 raises the bar. With more power, quieter operation, better energy efficiency, and deeper integration with the EcoFlow ecosystem, it’s the ultimate portable climate solution in a world where temperatures and stability are both unpredictable.

EcoFlow: From Luxury to Necessity

Not long ago, having multiple EcoFlow units at home or for camping felt like a luxury. Something “extra.” But with climate change bringing harsher storms, unpredictable weather, and longer power outages, that mindset has shifted. Today, it’s not about luxury—it’s about resilience. The reality is, the bad weather isn’t going away. Extreme heat waves, heavy rains, ice storms, and blackouts are becoming part of everyday life. Having several EcoFlow power stations isn’t excess, it’s insurance. It’s the ability to keep food cold, charge devices, power heat or AC when the grid fails, and stay connected when nature decides otherwise. EcoFlow gives you independence, peace of mind, and a safety net that modern life increasingly demands. Owning multiple units isn’t about wanting more—it’s about being ready.

EcoCredits - Earned with Purchase and Exchanged for Fun Gears

While this is not exactly Accessories per say in Ecoflow's store, I have played with my earned EcoCredits and enjoyed tremendously finding all these useful and fun gear items. As part of the fun in purchasing what I wanted for solar generations, I was able to collect EcoCredits when I purchased Power Stations and Solar Panels directly from Ecoflow website. The only exception was the first purchase of my Ecoflow RiverPro and 160W portable solar panel bundle, which I got from Amazon. Since then, I was introduced to the FB group and from the Ecoflow Official Club, I learned a lot from the experts in the forum, how to use and maintain my products. From their usage scenarios, it sparked my imagination easily how to apply to my own situation. What's more, I also learned that I can EARN EcoCredits from my purchase. With these EcoCredits accumulated over time, I have the following collection, which add to the fun in this solar journey. I appreciate all the listening and planning from Ecoflow to continue to make technology so enjoyable. My Baby Solar Panel Hung on my Baby Shed Charging my Baby Power Station

This Baby Solar Panel is a 45 W portable panel I received when I purchased a bundle with a River 3 Plus power station. I placed it facing west while my other solar panels are facing south during this test.I was very happy that it has got up to 43 W input solar at one point. The power station used is a River 2. This is my fun set up to test out the 45W solar panel.

When Nature Blocks the Sun, Be Ready.

Your EcoFlow solar system is powerful, clean, and reliable—but what happens when storms, snow, or heavy smoke block the sun for days? That’s where the EcoFlow Smart Dual Fuel Generator becomes essential. It’s your backup for the backup—kicking in when solar recharging just isn’t possible. With dual fuel capabilities (gasoline or propane), you stay flexible and fully powered, no matter the weather. It’s smart, efficient, and automatically integrates with your EcoFlow system. Because real preparedness means planning for every scenario-even the ones the sun can't fix.

Tea party with the RIVER 2 Pro!

The RIVER 2 Pro made having a tea party easy. I paired it with a Zojirushi Hot Water Maker in order to make fresh, hot tea. I was able to host the tea party without needing to put the Zojirushi Hot Water Maker on the floor, or using any extension cords, which could have posed a tripping or burn hazard. My tea party was a hit and my guests were very impressed! Thanks EcoFlow! ❤️

Suggest to equip River 3 plus with a 5525 output ports

I use the River 3 Plus for my internet modem. It is most economical and fitting to dedicate this model for the low wattage usage for my Internet use. I used to find the 5525 output port to be redundant on other larger power stations but would like to have it on my River 3 plus. Hope to see this added in the future.

[SUGGESTION] Offering financing option for buying backup solutions.

Hello,I’d like to ask if EcoFlow has any plans to offer financing options for purchases made through your website.A full backup power solution—such as the Smart Home Panel 2 combined with Delta Pro Ultra batteries—can be a significant investment, and not everyone is in a position to pay the full amount upfront. Providing financing options could make these systems more accessible to a wider audience and potentially boost sales as well.Is this something EcoFlow is considering for the near future?Thank you,Vincent Cadieux

Putting the new guy to the test!

Brought along a 60 W solar panel to help offset power use. Hooked the Trail 300 up to my 35 L EcoFlow Glacier Classic and spent the whole afternoon outdoors. It was a scorcher—well over 30 °C on the south shore of Montreal—but the EF 60 W panel was consistently bringing in 35–40 W. The Glacier pulled about the same whenever the compressor kicked in, so they balanced each other nicely. The trio worked great! I was a bit worried about overheating in the heatwave, but there were zero issues—and my drinks 🥤 stayed perfectly chilled.I do miss the app features (like checking internal temps), but overall the Trail 300 really impressed me paired with the Glacier and solar.

My Good Experience with Warranty Service for My Delta 2 Max from Ecoflow

Back in 2023 when Delta 2 Max was first launched, I ordered it immediately, as I enjoy the previous purchases and use of my River 2 Pro and Delta 2. Unfortunately, my new Delta 2 Max showed a red X on the display, it was at about where the battery icon (#7) is. According to the user manual, #7 indicated it is a battery failure warning, but I have only unboxed and used this unit for 2 cycles. It took me some time to map out, using the user manual, exactly where this red X icon was; it actually was located to the left of #7.Even though the unit still operated normally, I was unsure about this undocumented icon and reported to Ecoflow Customer Service. It was the first time I contacted Ecoflow and was requested to send them a video when the red X icon appeared again. As this was very repeatable, I had no problem capturing the scenario when it happened. Later, I was told by Customer Service that it was a factory use only icon, not shown in the manual. They wanted to take it back and would send me a replacement. The process was smooth, and I was sent a pre-paid label to return this unit and subsequently received a replacement. This further enhanced my confidence with Ecoflow, which clearly stands behind their technology.

Wave

Checking out my Wave 1 with my TOPDON TC002C Thermal Camera for iPhone 15 Series.Wave 1 is currently being used being used in my double garage while it is +34℃ (93℉) outside.I know it could be way more efficient if I placed my Portable Air Conditioner Insulated Hose Cover Wraps on the hoses but I stored them so well for safe keeping the last time I used them that I can't find them..... so I just ordered another set of insulated hose covers. $10 says I will find them the day after the new ones arrive. One thing I had not noticed before was the amount of heat (+30℃) being blown out of the side vent opening on the left side of Wave 1.Links for hose cover and TOPDON TC002C below.https://amzn.to/3Wqs9Tkhttps://amzn.to/4dyv3ML

Bags.

EcoFlow bags are one accessory that is very overlooked. The bags have a purpose, and that purpose is to protect your unit. The newer bags are even waterproof. I bring my units on camping trips. The bags protect my unit in the car during transport. During the camping duration, the bags protect from dirt, humidity, and water. I love to play outside, and it feels good to know I'm protecting my gear I enjoy so much while on the go and having fun.

Grab and Go!

With a busy modern lifestyle recharging my phone isn't always a option. The EcoFlow power banks brings peace of mind and stress free solution. The Rapids 5K & 10K are part of my every day life. Going to work or working in the yard, grab and go! Charge on the move. Great for gettogethers, they look stunning. They scratch a little easy so hope future models will have better protection. I also enjoy greatly the 10K model which has app functionalities.

Well Eating

Being off grid out camping eat well is always a must. I love my Delta 2 unit. On camping trips it works well with a electric griddle. Allowing cooking great meals. The 12V plug perfect for a compression cooler, mattress pump and even DC hook up to the Wave2 and now the Wave 3. Nice capacity and good inverter size big enough for a microwave or boiling water to a hair dryer.

One Tuff Unit!

After seeing the River 2 durability Test video and reading on the  TÜV Rheinland safety certification, my mind was made up. I love my units and let me tell you there tuff! Carried a River 2 in my rig all year dealing with high heats and subzero temperatures, vibrations and time to time even flying on a hard breaking. I used them at home powering wifi and internet when the grid goes down. Perfect camping companion. Proud to own the whole River 2 family and been loving them. Love the 3000 cycles, as it assures a long life.

RIVER 2 vs RIVER 3: 12V runtime test with the First Generation GLACIER

These are the results of a first generation GLACIER runtime comparison test between the RIVER 2 (256 Wh) and RIVER 3 (245 Wh) using a 12V car charging cable. I took screenshots every hour to track the differences between the two power stations in terms of their efficiency. The first generation GLACIER was set to 4C on the left and -18C on the right. The ambient temperature was 19C.🔋⚡️🔋RIVER 2 (12 hours 3 minutes):3:46 pm 100%4:46 pm 92%5:46 pm 84%6:46 pm 75%7:46 pm 69%8:46 pm 58%9:46 pm 51%10:46 pm 45%11:46 pm 34%12:46 am 28%1:46 am 20%2:46 am 9%3:46 am 2%3:49 am 0%-RIVER 3 (11 hours 54 minutes):8:06 am 100%9:06 am 87%10:06 am 80%11:06 am 73%12:06 pm 60%1:06 pm 52%2:06 pm 44%3:06 pm 34%4:06 pm 28%5:06 pm 21%6:06 pm 13%7:07 pm 5%8:00 pm 0%🔋⚡️🔋Initially, the RIVER 2 appears to be more efficient. However, in the latter half of the test, the RIVER 2 and RIVER 3 start to even out. Both power stations lasted around 12 hours. The RIVER 3 lasted 11 hours and 54 minutes, while the RIVER 2 lasted 12 hours and 3 minutes. Considering the 11 Wh difference in battery capacity between the two power stations, the runtime is still acceptably similar, with the RIVER 2 running 9 minutes longer in duration.

[DELTA PRO 3 + SMART HOME PANEL 2] Introduction to my setup and how I installed and planned it.

Hey everyone,Just wanted to share my installation experience with the Smart Home Panel 2, Delta Pro 3, and Delta Pro Extra Batteries.I handled the installation myself since I have experience with electrical work, and my stepfather—who's a certified electrician—came by to check everything over. He also gave me a few helpful tips along the way.The installation was done in July 2024, and here’s how I managed to minimize downtime for the house:1. Drilled the necessary holes in the Smart Home Panel 2.2. Mounted the Smart Home Panel 2 on the wall in its final location.3. Ran cables from the Smart Home Panel 2 to a junction box near my main panel and labeled each one.4. Connected the labeled wires to their respective breakers in the Smart Home Panel 2.5. Measured, cut, and prepped the main power cable that would connect to the main panel.6. [MAIN POWER OFF] Turned off power to the main panel.7. Disconnected the circuits I wanted to transfer from the main panel (~30 minutes).8. Routed those cables to the junction box (unless they were long enough to go straight to the SHP2) (~20 minutes).9. Connected those circuits to the pre-labeled cables in the junction box (~30 minutes).10. Double-checked all connections and connected the circuits that went directly into the SHP2 (~30 minutes).11. [MAIN POWER ON] Restored power to the main panel.12. Completed the setup in the EcoFlow app and tested each circuit. In total, the power was down for about two hours, which I thought was pretty reasonable. At first, I had an issue where the Delta Pro 3 wasn't powering the Smart Home Panel 2—there was a red light indicating a fault. I unplugged the bottom battery connection and reconnected everything. After a few tries, everything powered up and has been working flawlessly since.Happy to share more details or tips if anyone needs help!Vincent Cadieux
