The Center for Discipleship and Renewal (Cedar) seeks to help church leaders put discipleship at the center of congregations. By the power of the Holy Spirit, this can lead to transformed lives, growing churches, and a better world.

Thanks to the generosity of our donor community, Forward Movement shares resources with prisons, hospitals, military bases, assisted living centers, and countless other places where people yearn for ways to pray, engage scripture, and draw nearer to Christ.

Forward Movement inspires disciples and empowers evangelists. We offer devotionals, Bible studies, formation courses, and other resources to equip and support people in their walk with Jesus Christ.

Forward Movement has been a ministry of the Episcopal Church since 1935. We are financially independent, relying on sales and the generosity of our donors to support our mission and expand our reach.
