VB, FB, Golf and OH YEAH, Barbies!

Image
Image Image So... Taylor plays VOLLEYBALL for Cedar High School and Dylan is playing TACKLE FOOTBALL for the first time this year, Greg GOLFS, I WORK and Ashley plays BARBIES. What more could you want from life?! It is so fun to watch the kids excel in their different areas. We are proud parents! Taylor is doing very well with volleyball and Dylan gets to play quarterback and for now, Ashley is great at playing barbies and whatever else she chooses.Image

OUR SUMMER....

Image
Image Our summer has been a lot of fun! The girls and I went to Northern Utah to spend some time with family. We stayed with Kelly and her family one night and Mandy the next night. We went to a Ryan Shupe concert in Midvale, which had fireworks afterward.
Image
ImageImage We spent time at my family reunion up Ogden canyon and saw family I haven't seen in many years and my grandparents (my Mom's parents).

We also spent time at Greg's brother's house in So. Jordan. The kids have fun with their cousins. I wish we could get together with everyone more often... but miles separate.

NO MORE BIKE :(

It has been a long time since I blogged, but now all I have to say is that my last post about Dylan's bike is sad to me now. Someone stole his bike the other night. He is soooo upset and I am soooo mad! DANG!!!!

Happy 11th Birthday Dylan!

ImageI can't even believe that Dylan is now 11! June 12 was the big day... He had to have a new bike and he picked a Diamondback Viper 2 BMX. We tried to talk him into something else, but he knows what he wants! We had a friend birthday party for him today and played Ultimate Frisbee and Whiffle Ball. They had a great time. I love you Dylan! He is a great kid too... How did I get so lucky?!?Image

Catch Up!

Time slips by me WAY too fast! I can't keep up with everything, so here is a post to catch up on everything for the past month... Taylor's birthday was the 14th of May and she didn't really have a birthday party or anything. She's too old, right? 14 years old already! I love her and am so proud she is MY daughter... How did I get such a great kid?!?Image School got out on May 22. I was able to take pictures of Dylan and Ashley with their teachers. Ashley had Mary Ann Morris for 2nd grade and Dylan had Jeanne Payne for 5th grade. Taylor now moves to high school this coming August, Dylan will go to Cedar Middle and Ashley will stay at South Elementary. A kid at each school, for the next three years... Image Image Ashley finally started her softball. She is on Marcia Swallow Evans' husband's team. She seems to really like it even though I had to force her to play :) She even hits the ball! We are proud of all three of our kids and the great athletes they are becoming. ImageImageThe kids and I went to Flowell two weekends ago and they got a taste of the "farm life"... They pulled weeds for Grandpa Paul and earned a little money. They actually had fun... (I used to really hate it). This is the truck loaded with a bunch of the weeds they pulled. There were more to be pulled too.
Image The little girls didn't help too much :) Taylor took her friend Madison Alger with us and she had a blast. It's really different growing up in a town like Cedar and going to Flowell to visit. I'm glad they enjoy the farm and my side of the family.Image We get to spend time at the lake with the Davis side, mostly Greg's brother Matt and his family. We went to Sand Hollow this past Wednesday and had a great time. We also took along our friends the Seegmiller's. This was their first time going with us and they said they had a blast. (I only got pictures of the kids). They found a crawfish and thought that was pretty cool... They made a "pond" for it. Image Image Image ImageTaylor brought Jordan Larson and Dylan brought Carter Hinton along... They all had a great time playing in the sand, knee boarding and keeping warm in the sun.
Next, we went to the Summer Games Opening Ceremonies and saw Fillipe and Sione, for those that watched "Biggest Loser" this past season. The fireworks show is awesome!!
Image Image Image ImageThe Jazz Bear, David Osmond and Imagine (A Beatles Tribute band) were also performing. It was pretty fun! I could sing all the Beatles songs, that's thanks to my mom's tape when I was a kid :) Image

Softball AND Baseball

Image Softball and baseball now fill our evenings. Taylor and Dylan have been playing for a few weeks now and Ashley starts after Memorial Day with her first year of playing. We really enjoy watching the kids play and see their progress. Taylor and Dylan both have the opportunity to pitch and do a great job at it.Image
