    I'm loving this series. It's a perfect combination of romance & suspense. The concept of a Homicide Detective and a Politician being so madly in love with all the twists and turns in their live,s makes for an awesome read.
    I love everything Marie Force has written so far. She is the only Author that I can say, I have read everything she wrote and look forward to every new release.

    With every new 'Fatal' series issue I expect that I won't feel like I did when I read the first book in the series. Yes; every book that has come after that first one has been just as fresh and exciting. You'd think the reader would become bored with the storyline, characters or general situation. It just hasn't happened though! This fourth book adds to the crown that I'd call The Fatal Series. Each ensuing book is a jewel in that crown. Each book adds to the initial book and expands the series in a way that the reader then wants more and counts the days until the next new book is issued.

    In FATAL FLAW we get more romance, drama, suspense, murder, and character interaction. The progression of Sam and Nick's relationship is natural and not forced. Their love shines throughout and yet they each have their own careers to pursue. Then you add in the possibility that they can add Scotty to their lives and you get that family feeling that both Sam and Nick are hoping to eventually have.

    As usual, the cast of friends and work partners is a wonderful and interesting addition to the reading. Also; the people who are neither friends, family or work associates adds to the overall story and keeps the reader wondering what their agenda might be and how it'll involve Sam, Nick, or both. This series is definitely full of mysteries.

    I thoroughly enjoyed reading FATAL FLAW and would recommend it highly. My favorite parts were wondering who the bad guy(s) would turn out to be and how Sam would deal with them. Sam didn't disappoint and played it smart and with her usual calm demeanor. I love it when Sam gets into her Detective-mode. She is then brave, snarky and witty. With family and loved ones she will let her vulnerability show but when confronted with crime and injustice she is the trained professional.

    I'm hoping we see more of FBI Agent Hill, as well. He caught my interest as being dark and mysterious. Sam also thought him to be handsome. It was good to read further about Gonzo, Jeannie, and Freddie, too. They are all very endearing people and their lives are written in very compelling ways.

    I guess the best part of this series is that it continues to educate and entertain. I look forward to the next one coming up (hopefully) by years end. Thank you Marie. I loved it!

    Da ich sowohl gerne englische Bücher als auch Krimis lese, ist dieses Buch ganz nett zu lesen. Es nerven die in jedem Band vorkommenden Erklärungen und kurzen Wiederholungen der Ereignisse aus vorangegangenen Bänden, es wird wohl versucht, Quereinsteigern das Verstehen der gesamten Story zu erleichtern. Was aber meiner Meinung nach überflüssig ist, wenn ich ein Buch aus einer Serie lese, muss mir klar sein, dass die Bände aufeinander aufbauen und ich nicht mitten drin anfangen sollte.
