    Wow, I really don't know what else to say. This story is incredibly touching, at times tough to read, and it really makes you think. But OMG did I love and devour it, not only because it features three of my favourite characters EVER! But because it was just so beautifully written and heartfelt and I'll be honest, it's been sitting on my Kindle since its release but I wasn't sure I was ready to read it, and now I can't believe I waited even though at times Roni's journey to her chapter two almost tore my heart out.

    Yet seriously, it is a fantastic story and possibly the best Ms Force has ever written and I can't wait to read more from these incredible resilient wild widows in the future.

    Would highly recommend.

    This was a beautiful poignant story that takes you on the emotional rollercoaster experienced by young widow, Roni, as she learns to live without her young husband following his tragic death. Tissues were frequently needed, but there were plenty of moments to smile at too as she finds friendship and support when she is invited to join a lovely group called the Wild Widows. Through the group she unexpectedly finds someone who not only helps her through her grief but also helps her to find love again. I've read and enjoyed all of Marie's books but this one has touched me deeply. I'm really looking forward to reading the next book in this series!

    I always look forward to a new book from Marie Force and suffice it to say that I wasn't disappointed. As I read Someone Like You I found that I often had an emotional lump in my throat and tears hovered close by. It's a story at a second chance of love following tragedies of the worst kind for Roni and Derek. It was, simply put, a wonderful and emotional read. Thank you Marie for providing us all with another brilliant literary escape.

    What a powerful and emotional story. It was truly wonderful to read their journey to each other. This couple had weathered the worst that life could deal them and start to come out the other side. I adored the idea of the widows club. I was hooked from the first page to the last and I can’t wait to read the next book now.

    First few pages seemed interesting then I got lost with all the people and events that I had no clue who/what they were. I thought this book was heavy on politics that were intrusive. I also found it implausible that after just a few short weeks, the first lady is her friend. Also implausible is how the first lady could act as a cop whilst being accompanied by Secret Service. The rest of the story was repetitive with loads of continuity errors and contradictions. It didn't flow and it's full of angst. Will not read rest of series and this book is deleted from my kindle. It took me days to read as quite boring.

    I loved this book so much, Roni and Derick were great when first Metin fatal and first family books. If you don’t mind emotional stories about lost love and tragedy this is a lovely story.
    I have long been a Marie Force fan , but her story telling is epic, thank you for all these great, joyful stories.

    Oh my heart, this one has a little of everything, and it's one of the absolute best emotional reads I’ve seen in a long time. Plus, it's loosely set in the Fatal world, so we get to catch up with some of our favorite characters.

    Roni Connolly lost her husband suddenly and way too soon. She spends her days and long, lonely nights mired in grief. Sure, she tries to put on a good face for her family, but she can’t seem to move beyond Patrick's death. It doesn’t seem real to her, to the point that she sees a man from behind that looks like Patrick, only to find, when he turns around, that he’s clearly not her beloved Patrick.

    With help from her sister, Roni connects with a group who call themselves the Wild Widows. They’ve all lost a partner and meet weekly to try to help each other. Instead of well meaning folks who offer flimsy platitudes or often say completely the wrong thing, Roni finds people who really understand the challenges of grief and the struggle to carry on with life.
