Spring Break--the beach party

Our spring break was quite the wild ride!  Dare I say-spontaneous!  Ivy talked me into taking the kids to Monterey and sleeping in a tent in her cousins backyard.   We had a blast-Ivy & I and 6 kids.  We were super chilly in the tent so I found some beanies by the Aquarium and our final night was much better!  i am so glad we went! We had a blast!

We also spent a day at the beach and it was gorgeous!

Undefeated!

We had a fabulous time this year on the Bulls and it definitely doesn't hurt that we were undefeated!

Science Fair Time!

Xander and Eliza worked really hard on their projects this year.  Eliza studied removing permanent marker from clothing and Xander studied mold.  Unfortunately, they weren't able to get the permanent marker out of the shirt or get the bread to mold.  BUT we had lots of fun and learned!

Spanish Spelling Bee

So proud of our Eliza for qualifying for the Spanish Spelling Bee. Between this and the Math Bowl, she has decided she doesn't ever want to compete again but we are proud of her for making it to where she did each time :)

Snow Day in Squaw Valley

We had the most amazing snow day ever!  Tubing, taking a gondola, eating at a fancy restaurant over looking the Tahoe Basin and ice skating at high camp.  Who could ask for a better day!
