A final look at the snow in Paris, this time at our beloved Palais Royal. I arrived when it was still dark and a brief blizzard descended, with icy wind and swirling snow. Alone, I walked through drifts of unblemished snow beneath the iconic arches, a surreal and otherworldly experience. Bitterly cold, and fearful of my fingertips, I nevertheless knew this was a once-in-a-lifetime moment. We hope you enjoy the images. 💕💕💕❄️🤍

More Paris in the snow for you, before it fades from memory. The Louvre and Tuileries are very near our apartment so I visited during the evening snow, the next day’s sun and the mini blizzard the following morning. It’s remarkable how different it can appear under different conditions. And to crunch through snow in these locations was a special treat! I wasn’t shooting specifically for social media, but rather for two upcoming books, so didn’t do a lot of video, but will share more of that on stories. Tomorrow will share the Palais Royal at dawn. The ballet-themed fairytale decor and tree @icparislegrand @repettoparis created by @emmasosastudio is the season’s most romantic! 🩰 it celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Opera Garnier. Emma is the daughter and partner of @anne.vitchen who created the fabulous🧸🧸🧸 tree at @ritzparis and the stunning just-revealed tree @operadeparis , among many others. Together, these ladies have brought magic and wonder to the entire city! Bravo! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I popped in to discover that the bears have taken over! 🎄Stop by the delightful Place Vendôme outdoor Ritz cafe for hot chocolate and marshmallow bears, and choose your own fluffy bear to take home. 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Welcome December! A few first scenes of the holidays in Paris. The beautiful bow at @chanelofficial was much loved last year and has been brought back by popular demand. Other locations include the view from @galerieslafayette, Place Vendome, Av. Montaigne and @plaza_athenee , Tuileries Carnival. It’s fairly cold and damp here in Paris but I’ll be out as always to bring you the beautiful decor popping up everywhere.
