This book has a little bit for most alternative romance lover. Age gap, dominant male, and deception. RG Angel set you up for an adventure of deceit , soulfulness and heat. The Bargain is definitely a top recommendation in my collection.

My first by this author and the story just sucked me in. Being rich has its privileges just as being poor can sometimes suck. Add a baby in the mix and here come the problems. I’d read from this author again.

I liked the story. I liked Amber and how she sacrificed to do the best for her nephew. I thought Dean was kind of a jerk. I was disappointed that Amber gave into him initially, even though he was so hateful towards her. I wished there was more grovel rather than a blanket apology to cover everything.

This book really needs a good editor.

Overall the story was good, but disappointing because it could have been so much better!

Amber has a huge heart and is struggling to make ends meet as well as bring up her little nephew Timmy at the same time. When Dean who is arrogant, ruthless, wealthy, and powerful arrives at her door she knows that he is there to take Timmy away from her. Knowing that deception is going to be the only way to keep Timmy with her, they both end up on Dean’s estate when she must prove herself as a fit mother. These two want just wants what is best for Timmy, but where Dean wants him as the next heir, Amber want him to have a good life and being able to choose what he wants for his future himself. This is a well written story which is emotional, unique, and has secrets, deception, love, and is a steamy story with complex characters and an intricate plot. I was hooked and intrigued throughout, and I look forward to reading more form this talented author, whose work I recommend for all.

The Bargain engaged my attention immediately as the premise was intriguing and the author’s creative writing style left me captivated throughout the entire read. Moving at a good pace and with spot on character development, The Bargain is a tantalizing romance complete with a unique plot, interesting characters, deception, and steam which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Dean was exactly what I have come to expect in an anti-hero. Wealthy and handsome, he wields his words with a sharp sword, is ruthless in his dealings, and craves control Yet, Amber rarely cowers in his presence. His cruel words, quick judgments, and questionable actions should have made me loathe him, but the author with her intricate way of weaving the story and impeccable character evolution made me like this delectable, commanding anti-hero.

I loved Amber as she is a remarkable heroine. She was a brilliant young woman who possesses an innate kindness that made her so easy to love. Her vibrant personality and caring nature were apparent throughout the novel and she definitely threw Dean for a loop. Yes, she had flaws and moments of vulnerably, but she also had an inner strength that served her well. Both characters have backstories that will pull at your heartstrings and will help the reader to understand just how their experiences have shaped who they are today. The two together made an interesting but perfect pair. Neither really like each other in the beginning and witnessing how their relationship evolved over time was highly entertaining.

The Bargain is a well written enemies-to-lovers, mistaken identity novel that has an older man-younger woman theme. I did not find the difference in age to be a big deal as Amber’s responsibilities had greatly matured her, but she was still inexperienced in other areas. I think this helped contribute to why she was an excellent match for Dean. If you are looking for an entertaining enemies-to-lovers and billionaire romance, then you should definitely check out this book! I voluntarily read an early version of this book. RG Angel has managed to blow my mind with another captivating and engaging read. The Bargain has a little bit of every trope I love, wrapped up in a pretty bow. Enemies to lovers, mistaken identity, and an age gap? SIGN. ME. UP.

Dean is the anti-hero of all anti-heros. He was so mean to Amber. Cold, calculating and relentless in his pursuit for custody of his nephew, he would stop at nothing to get it.

Amber is the epitome of kind, compassionate, forgiving, and understanding. She's raising her nephew Timmy after her drug addicted sister passed away. Timmy has a heart condition and Amber is doing everything she can to keep him healthy and make sure he is properly cared for. When Dean shows up offering a deal that would ensure Timmy's medical needs and well being will always be guaranteed, pretending to be her dead sister Opal was a no brainer. Six months in a beautiful mansion with all expenses paid and all needs met. All she had to do was survive Dean and his cruelty.

RG Angel has a way with words to be able to make you fall for Dean. It was hard, even when he was trying, to see his caring side shine through. Even when he realized he cared for Amber, he was still so rough around the edges. One of my favorite parts of their story was watching how Amber and Timmy's love softened his hardened heart. The story was deliciously angsty and perfectly paced. The chemistry undeniable and the sex scenes were fire. The Bargain was unique and refreshing, an unputdownable read. A 5 star must read!

Wow, wow, wow! This book deserves all the stars. I had no idea when I chose to review this book that it would turn out this good, but damn! The past stories for Dean and Amber are full of devastation, loss and the possibility of hope for the future.

I loved how strong Amber was, she was completely selfless and caring for Timmy, only wanting his best interest at heart. Even if it meant lying to Dean to stay with him and make sure he was loved and cared for. So young and she was forced to grow up so fast, between everything her family put her through and taking the responsibility of her nephew on. But she was so fragile and ready to break and she stole my heart faster than she stole Deans. And Dean! So cold and cruel, he is absolutely hurting, angry and confused about the loss of his brother and trying to deal with who he thinks is responsible for his death. He wants her but can't want her and it causes all the problems. And the result of their confusion/lust/need/want for each other is so explosive, they're chemistry is off the charts and I. Was. Here. For. It.

I honestly loved everything about their story, they helped each other heal and learned to love, trust and respect each other. I will definitely be reading more from this author, this book was so damn good. Read it!

The Bargain is an age gap romance that captivated and intrigued me right from the start with its unique story line and intriguing characters . Dean is a jerk at first but I grew to love him there was so much more to him than meets the eye and Amber is sweet compassionate and a very strong willed character these two were perfect for each other. Overall I loved this story it definitely had me all up in the feels it was emotional and angsty full of steam everything I’ve come to expect from a R.G. Angel story! This is a definite must read and I highly recommend especially if you love age gap with a unique spin to it definitely give this book a try . This author is one of my one clicks and I haven’t read a book by her yet that I haven’t loved !

First book I've read by this author, and it won't be my last.

I loved this book so much.

I went through all the emotions. I raged at Dean , i cried for Amber , this couple went through so much. I loved little Timmy so much and the family they created.

I was completely hooked on this book and i can't wait to read more from this author.

This was a little darker than I expected but I enjoyed it and I would recommend reading it.

I will read another of the author's books.

From the beginning the interactions between Dean and Amber were filled with angst and tension, Dean was extremely verbally cruel towards Amber it made my heart hurt for her, I wished there should have been more grovelling on Deans end! Despite I found myself to enjoying this read and I’m glad that they both got their happy ending together, they both completed each other 💜

I really enjoyed this, he was a major a$$ for a while and i have no idea what she saw in him, but i did love him by the end. A thoroughly entertaining read and nice spicy scenes too.

This is such a beautiful story and Amber, Dean and especially Timmy are great well thought out, complex, characters. Bravo RG Angel. This is a superb story with a lovely hea.
