Cruise!

Steve and I went on vacation last week. We left Friday night on a red eye flight and started our vacation on Saturday. We went to Busch gardens in Tampa FL, rode the roller coasters and had a blast. I am not much of a roller coaster person, but I could be. I guess the more the you ride them the less scary them become. I rode them all and they were great.

Sunday morning we boarded the ship. The cruise was awesome! We had a blast. It was very relaxing and we played a lot. This is us waiting to board the ship. Once on the ship, we found a very relaxing spot. Time for the vacation to begin!

Cozumel was our first stop. We went snorkeling. The coolest thing happened, there was one other couple on the snorkel trip with us, who happened to be a young couple from Salt Lake. We had a blast with them. After snorkeling we rented scooters and rode around the whole island. It was beautiful. We stopped at beaches, shops and for lunch on the way. It was an amazing day with our new friends.

Next was Belize. Our new friends came along, as well as another awesome couple we met at dinner the night before. We went rode ATV's and went cavetubing. We rode the river through a huge cave. It was pretty neat. The best part about the day was spending it with Joe and Hayley (the couple from Salt Lake) and Joe and Helen (he is a pastor from TX and such a fun couple).

3rd stop was Roatan. Again, we spent the day with Joe and Hayley. We got a taxi to the beach. Our driver was great. He took us to an amazing beach, with very few people. It was beautiful. We went snorkeling and it was probably the best snorkeling of the trip. The water was beautiful and felt so good. We had a great time at the beach. Our driver picked us up and took us on a tour of the city, took us to different shops, to a lighthouse, and all around the city. It was one of the best days. Roatan was beautiful.

Last stop was Grand Cayman. Yes, we spent the day again with our friends. We went to the stingray sandbar, fed the stingrays, held them, got pix with them, which I don't have yet. Then we went to another area to snorkel.

The trip was great. My favorite places were Cozumel and Roatan. We had so much fun with the company we were with. The last night we were there we all had dinner together, played games, took group pictures, and went to the show together.

It was fun to meet new people and enjoy spending time with them throughout the cruise. It was a very relaxing trip, and we had a blast snorkeling and exploring the different islands. It was definitely worth it! I'm ready for another.

California

Brady and I took a road trip last month to California. It was a perfect trip! Very easy going, fun, and relaxing. Brady is a great person to travel with, he is happy with anything. The two of us together made a pretty good team.

We stayed with our aunt Joy and her family. The day we got there our cousin Brittany came home from her mission to Peru. We enjoyed visiting her family so much. Our Uncle Steve was there also.

The summary:
Day 1. Visiting with Aunt Joy, Uncle Dennis and Steve, and cousins.
Dinner with Uncle Steve
Day 2. Huntington Beach-swimming, boogie boarding, and the surf competition
Dinner with Steve and cousins

Day 3. Golf lessons from the golf pro, uncle Steve. We had a blast. We could have stayed there all day.

Brady took a nap, and I went exploring CA, actually I went shopping.

Brady and I discovered the tetherball in the backyard, and played a MEAN game, or 20 of tetherball. We played for about an hour and a half, had bruised hands and knuckles, and were sore for the rest of the trip.
That night Brittany, Brady and I went running in the park. So fun! Reminisced about missions.
Day 4. Newport beach with Joy, Brittany, and Jenny! Fun in the sun!
Dinner once again with uncle Steve at our favorite taco shop.
Day 5. Church and relaxation.
Day 6. San Diego...
Mormon Battalion
Shopping
Strawberry tortillas
Mission Beach
Grandma and Granpa Prices. Enjoyed more time with more cousins that we haven't seen in a long time. So fun to see everyone.
Day 7. First stop, San Diego temple. Brady did baptisms and I went to a session. What a beautiful and peaceful place. It was a blessing to be there.
Drive to St. George
Spent the night at Grandma Andreason's.
Visited with cousin Lyndi...so much fun.
Day 8. Started the morning with a session at the St. George temple.
Drove home.

Brady and I had a great time. Listened to fun music and had good talks. Love spending this time with him.
Thanks Brady, I love you!

Zumba!

I went to my first Zumba class a couple weeks ago and now I am officially hooked. I had never really thought about going. I love to run, bike, go to the gym, whatever. I was always a little intimidated by Zumba because I can't dance. Steve and I were talking one night and he mentioned it. The next day at the gym I looked at the class schedule and there was a class starting in 5 min, so I decided it was the best time. I love it! The teacher was amazing, very energetic. It was so FUN! I don't think I have missed a class that I have been available for. Bottom line, I am hooked on Zumba!

Dating

...and now that I have your attention...

I learned something a couple weeks ago. We had Utah's dating coach come to our stake for a dating seminar. My first question for me was, Utah's dating coach? Does every state have an official dating coach? Kind of like a state bird or flower, or governor for that matter. Anyway, I now know the reason I am single, so for all those who have wondered why I am still single, heres why, I have been doing it all wrong.

However, its not me, it's my technique. She emphasized that practice makes you better, so that is what I get to so, practice flirting. Wow, that is a lot of work, overwhelming really.

You may feel like there is another reason, and you are welcome to share that reason with me.
