Choice Moments

Sometimes life has those choice moments. Times where I thank the Lord over and over for an experience. Times where I am overwhelmed by the blessings and feel so much gratitude. Times where you really feel the Lords love. This weekend was one of those times. I was able to go to Idaho this weekend to see my new Nephew. It was wonderful to see him. After seeing my brother Dale and his family, I went to the dental hygiene clinic to visit Linda. While I was there I saw a few of my instructors. I had a wonderful time visiting. They were so kind and it was so good to see them.

Brady and I went back to Pocatello on Saturday. We visited a member of the my Stake Presidency while j was in school in Pocatello. It was so wonderful, really the best word I have for it is choice. I came away feeling amazing. He has that gift of making you reel that way. I am so grateful for that experience.

Brady and I went to visit Dale's family again. We had a really nice tome visiting with them. it was wonderful to be together, comfortable, and thoroughly enjoying each others company. I loved just hanging out with my brothers. I have such good brothers. Now that Dale is married and has kids, we don't get to be together very often. It was great to have that time to spend with Brady, Dale, Lindsey, and the two little boys.

I also want to add my gratitude to the Lord for inspiration. Sometimes it is hard to follow the little promptings because you may feel abnormal or scared, or something else. Follow them anyway. There is a reason. I am trying to be better at following each little prompting, no matter what.

My heart is full, I am grateful.

Brothers News

I have received great news this week. First of all, I spent Monday at my sisters in Tooele. I had the day off so I went to play at her house. We have so much drum cleaning, organizing, getting rid of things, and working jn the books for the business. I'm sk grateful they are so close. I love spending time with them.

I talked to my Mom Monday who informed me that my brother Chet was sustained as the 1 at counselor in his bishopric in GA. He invited my dad to come and ordain him a high priest. I was very tempted to go also so I could see them and see the Leaked. I decided to save the money for a longer trip. Chet will be wonderful! He has such a strong testimony and is such a gentle, tender person. Love him and happy for him and those in his ward.

My younger brother Dale called Monday night to tell me that I had a new nephew. They had their baby about 1:00 am on Monday. They had a boy which means 2 boys for them. Mother and baby are well. I am grateful all went well. I am anxious to see them. I will be able to go there next weekend.

Life is good! I am grateful for the things the Lord has blessed me with which is more than I should ever need. I love my family so much!
Time to Update the year. I'm trying to stay on track a little better this year. Christmas was wonderful as usual. I was in Rexburg with my family. It is a blessing to be so close to family and be able to go to them. Dad and Mom are so loving and generous. Brady worked the graveyard shift Christmas eve, so he returned home at 7 am. We went into my parents room singing Christmas carols to wake them up. Just like old times, kind of. It was my parents and Brady and I. We had a nice time together. Our friend Claufette, who is from Haiti came over for Christmas dinner. That evening we went to Jacob and Lori's and gottogether with them and Chris and Charity's family. Great day!

I was able to get together win a couple friends while I was in Rexburg. It is fun to see how they have grown up, how there testimonies have grown, and to see them raising their families.

The thing we all look forward o the most is our annual New Years family party. We spend about 3 days in salt Lake at a hotel, by so much food, and just play. Our first stop is Costco where we get more food than we will eat. Each sibling and their spouse plan a meal and activity. As the years have gone by there has been some adapting. This year we stayed in the majority of the time. There are more and more childrens games ms activities with the increasing amount of grandchildren and ages. This year there seemed to be a perfect mix of everything. The hotel we stay at allows us to use the conference room the days we are there. We spend the nights ms down time in our room and then the rest if the time we play, eat, and visit in the conference room. This year was perfect! Everyone seemed to have a great time, I don't even think there were tears.

Emily flew in from Boise which was extra wonderful since most of the family hasn't seen her since her heart surgeries. It was a great time with family. There was one moment we were playing a game. I looked around and realized the few of us who were playing were the four girls, Emily,Lani, Charity, and I. For me it was a special moment.

Thanks Dad and Mom for the fun and your generosity! I LOVE YOU!
