Gita is a white german shepherd rescue who was chained day and night in the neighbor’s backyard with no shelter, no food or water. Her situation was getting progressively worse by the day. After confronting the owner/neighbor, she surrendered Gita. She was skin and bones and had a few more days passed, her life could have taken a drastically different course. She found her home on April 2, 2007. Gita is my first dog. What a privilege it has been to learn from and for her. She’s made me a better person and taken my life in directions I never would have imagined. Training, reading and researching, including starting Wet nose. Muddy paws., where we wanted to share our experiences and knowledge as we navigated the massive, confusing, unregulated, misleading and sometimes dangerous pet food and product worlds. Gita, you are truly a beautiful gift from the angels. Thank you for teaching me, every day, what it means to be grounded and awake. You know these things better than any of us. I love you very much, sweet baby girl.
