First-year AI major at UCSD drawn to the mathematical and conceptual sides of CS. Where I want to take that is Healthcare AI, specifically applying it to Cognitive Behavioral Neuroscience. I'm passionate about building things that genuinely help people and give back to the communities around me.
Right now I'm applying RLHF to evaluate AI generation, improving competition robotics autonomy, and exploring image segmentation for disasters. Outside of building, I mentor student developers through ACM and present workshops with digestible information about technology/AI.

Fruit Detector · YOLO object detection built from scratch in PyTorch with ACM AI @ UCSD. No pretrained weights, no borrowed architecture. 24 conv layers, a hand-written loss function, and a 7x7 spatial grid. Runs live on a webcam. (write-up)
Capstone — Sentry Symbol Detection & Pose Estimation · Computer vision pipeline for detecting and contouring sentry symbols on a competition robot, using solvePnP for 3D pose estimation. Built for Triton Robotics @ UCSD as part of the autonomy team's fall capstone.
TESC Portal · Membership portal for TESC @ UCSD built in React and Supabase. Role-based views, event RSVP and attendance tracking, club bulletin board. Real users, deployed and in use.
Pet Hub · Interactive educational platform for pet owners built with WIC Project Teams @ UCSD. I built the core site architecture in Next.js, created custom interactive anatomy features for the cat and dog pages, and handled the full deployment pipeline to Vercel. (repo · write-up)
StudyStream · A focus timer in Swift with Pomodoro countdowns and a built-in ambient music player. Forest sounds, sedative tracks. I built it before I ever touched ML and it taught me more about state management and UX than any tutorial.
