brick by boring brick

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY AND GONG XI FA CAI!

So I've finally found time to blog again, not to mention the uninterrupted internet access which has almost killed quite a few of my fish.. Lol, yes fishville.

School's been absolute shit, as usual but I'm hangin' on. Results came out a while ago for O, AS and A Level. So my parents, being the right kind of Asian (yes, we're considered Asian too :p) gave me a hell of a lecture, one each! Study hard blah blah blah. Like I don't know that already. I was bummed for a while, but I got over it, like always.

ANYWAY, Preparations for @FattiH's wedding are... still going? I think it's safe to say she seems to be the least excited about her own wedding, which really doesn't even surprise me knowing her. Can't wait to go to India again in June! It's going to be as hot as hell though around that time, very helpful for my vampireyness. No, I don't sparkle in the sun.
AND OF COURSE TO SEE ASH DD! She's preggersss! I'm gonna be an auntyyy! :D Can't imagine her with a swollen belly! I think I'm probably more excited than she is. I've thought of baby names and everything, if it's a girl, then it'll be Zulaiqa. HAHA

It feels kinda weird being recognised as an upper-sixer. I wouldn't say that I haven't gotten used to the fact, because A2 really helps in that aspect with the workload, and all these new responsibilities to be good examples for our incoming juniors. HAHA yeroiiight.
The lowers will be coming in soon, let's hope there's something(s) to look at. HAHA I MEAN UH.. I'll help them feel at home? (a)

I've decided to make myself feel less useless this year, and join a couple of clubs. Yes, I did need some extra motivation but still.
Syazwi and Co have decided to start a School newsletter/magazine thing for every term, so I've signed on as articles editor :D I read about it on Twitter earlier [cough* stalker alert] so I'm hoping for the best (: Did my first assignment thing last night, which was... interesting, to say the least.
Oh, and tennis too! Yeah, I know what you're thinking... HOW did somebody manage to get me into that? :P But it's pretty cool and I actually do look forward to it :P

Besides that, everything else has been pretty average. Literally same old, same old.
How are you guys? :D

and P.S.: Happy Belated Birthday Mark Anthonyyyy! :)

Twenty ten, baby!

Time for Miracles ♪ Adam Lambert

So it's officially the last day of 2009. Must say it's been one heck of a year, and I'm sure you all agree.

Let's see...

- Scramble for our O level results: crazyyyy stuff! I know a bitched a LOT (and I mean A LOOOOOOTTTTT especially after graduation EHEH) about PDS after I left, but now I just wanna say thank you to my Alma Mater (cue the AWWWWW) LOL~ But really though, I miss the highschool days already, can't believe it's only been a year! And all you exPDS Katok-ers!

- choosing the right sixth form centre to join: I looked into JIS, ISB, Katok and even overseas!

- induction into Maktab Duli:
I don't regret choosing this place, I've met just way too many wonderful and just all-round awesome people I've met and become so close to in just literally a couple of months. <3

- Melbourne trip:
WHAT CAN I SAY I'M IN LOVE WITH THE PLACE! No but seriously though, I'd love to stay there! Especially during winter EHEH. Plus, it was the first time in a long time that I had visited a country I've never been to before, so that made the trip all the more memorable!

- Eid in India:
hadn't had this in ages, so it was a little different to not be in the yearly routine, but it was good anyway (:

- Mocks and AS Levels: 'nuff said.

- The countless times I had hangouts during lunch/PS-es with probably the best company you can get:
I could name you guys one by one here, but I don't need to. You know who you are and thanks for making school a little less boring & schedule-y and all the more exciting (:
I LOVE YOU GUYS!

I think I'll spend tomorrow writing up a list of resolutions. I realised I haven't done this in ages because I'm always so sure I won't fulfill 'em, but I'm gonna give it a go this year anyway. One list of resolutions for 2010 comin' up! :D
Okay, I should've started last week. This'll take a little longer than it should.

you're such a skeeze.

KK trip was good! Came back with the expected rashes all over my arm. It's like I'm allergic to the sun, especially when I'm on holiday. Wtf, I know.
Did quite a bit of tshirt shopping, I couldn't help myself there was just so much to choose from at a better price range. Admittedly, I went waaaay overboard. Probably spent like RM 100 more than my budget. EHEH Dad won't know.

Other than that, I've got the freakish obsession to decorate my room again, and I managed to stick more stuff on my already almost completely filled up wall. ALOVETTT :D

Yea, I got thaaat bored. BUT ALOOOOVETT. HAHA

Undisclosed Desires ♪ Muse

Yet again, I've got a new layout! Not because I got tired of the old one, but because these pre-set ones are so much easier to handle [even though they're a wee bit lame-r] and all the more neater.

The KK trip's in 3 days, and I'm all packed & ready to go. Just gotta get those last minute stuff together. I wonder what we're gonna do there in the space of 5 days, and I'm sure it's gonna be a little different since I'm going with my cousins' family, but I'm looking forward to it nonetheless.

If only blogger had a reblog button, I'd reblog a bit of Wana J's post.. It goes something like this:

Being frustrated as a Liverpool fan would be a major understatement right now. Fak, I want my awesome team back :( Whatever happened to them?

Yea, the season's not ours at all. Hopefully all those Christmas wishes of ONLY LIVERPOOL winning/atleast getting into the top four by the end of the season. Oh, do I praaaay for a better 2nd half of a season. AMIIIIIIN!

Other than that, just the fact that I've only got one proper plan for December, and I don't even know if I'll be ALLOWED to go. Booooo! I'll need to use my superpowers to persuade my parents, who'll be coming back from India that very same dayyy. Hope their flight's in the morning EHEH.

P.S.: XABIER ALONSO OLANO WAS IN THE STANDS DURING THE ARSENAL GAME. I KNOW YOU MISS US, SO LEAVE REAL MADRID AND COME BACK TO US ALREADY. CAN'T YOU SEE THE DISASTER?

I mean uh... hey there.

The sun, sea and sand <3

Had a good long day today, didn't feel as useless as usual :p We took a drive to Tutong at around noon and then just shopping around till 5 after lunch! And then to the beach for an hour or so. The usual beach outing with the noisy bunch (:

It really knocked me out todayyy. Dayyum tired, had a little nap on the way back home in the car and now I can't sleep. So here I am, online. It's become my holiday routine! Go online, get off around midnight, and then come on a little later and stay till.. sometimes 4am. I really need to get a hobby!

P.S.: MOOOOMMMM I WANNA GET MY EARS PIERCED AGAINNNN :D

Blog revival 9783457th time.

Yes, I've decided to revive it, yet again because I feel bad. HAHA No literally, I feel bad for ditching blogger for twitter. It's just so much easier to tweet from your phone than to sit down, grab a laptop/computer, and open a blank page just to have everything that happened that day deleted from your mind just when you thought looooads of interesting things to post about. I know I'm not the only one this happens to :p

What's new.. Hmm I've literally just finished the first year of my Maktab Duli 2-year course [haha fancyyy] and honestly it couldn't have gone any faster! I'm actually going to miss having free time. I've gotten loads of warnings and such from current seniors, they've got me shitscared :S Quote: "You won't have time to feel bored next year". THANKS HAM! *forced smile.

The wise words of my chemistry teacher which I think I've blogged before:
"YOU ALL DON'T HAVE HOLIDAYS UNTIL THE END OF NOVEMBER 2010!"
Brilliant.
I've honestly enjoyed this year actually. Meeting loadsa new people, being a LOT less anti-social [Hey I don't like being a loner, as much as it seems!], met some of the coolest people I'll ever meet, definitely missing the PDSers <3 and PDS SMS School altogether a lot more than I thought I'd be. So all that complaining really, was just me complaining because I... like to complain.

Other than that, I don't really want to talk about Liverpool's status in football right now, hopefully there's going to be a turnaround and DEFINITELY LESS INJURIES PLEASE. We're like cursed this year or something, it sucks so bad. :/ I'm keeping the faith tho, we're going to make it to the top 4 atleast by the end of the season (y) YNWA!

Missed the last two days of school because I was suddenly hit with this virus sort of thing, which had be literally in bed for almost two days, with the IV line and all. And 'cuz of this, I couldn't hangout with Jan on Wednesday and feel totally shitty about it :( IMY @OHRIELLEY! At least I managed to see her though, PDS Primary graduation last week. Come back soon, and for longer! Btw, Arf's going to be in Form1! That's secon-freakin-dary! I feel so old!

DID I MENTION I'M ON HOLIDAY NOW? HELLZ YESSIREE. Not that it makes a difference, really. I'll just be a few hundred pounds heavier by the end of it. And totally clueless on school work. But hey, that's what holidays are for! :D

Reading from the last post, we did go to India for Eid, it was good I guess, felt different after having Eid in Brunei for so long [no open-housing was like a cultureshock!] but overall it was good with the cousins and stuff (: Not to mention nice baju EHEH.

P.S.: I just read some of my last few posts. Man, do I sound bimbotic or what?

Ozzy Ozzy Ozzy! Oye Oye Oye!

I LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAV MELBOURNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*COUGH.
Okay, I got back a couple of days ago. School holidays were extended for an extra week cuz of the whole swine flu thing which is really big at the moment in Brunei. The number of cases are jumping to a whole new number everyday. It's crazy how paranoid they though. Screening in schools, over 200 people in quarantine. *sigh. Hope it dies down.

Anyway, the melbourne trip was everything I hoped for! FUN AND FREAKISHLY COLD! I was so sad to get on the flight back home "sweet" home :S Took enough photos [and was stupid enough to leave the pics in Melbourne too], saw kangaroos [the ultimate Oz thing to do], rode on amazingly clean public transport. I would so move there if I had a choice <333

Back to school, everything's so routine-y already :/

I still want to go to Singapore to see Liverpool play! Seems a little unlikely though since we just came back from Oz, and Dad's planning to go to India for Eid this year. *sigh. WHEN WILL I EVER GET THIS CHANCE AGAIN :(
I can't imagine seeing them upfront. I'd be crazy-ass star-struck like... OMG! I'm talking like I'm going. I even tried to bribe my dad to give my maid a vacay so we can "work" for the tickets and stuff. Crazy, I know but that's how much I wanna go! *screams.

Tests and stuff are going on. As usual. Blah.

Oh, my birthday was cool too! We were supposed to go to Transformers on opening night, but we had like a family+friends dinner thing, but we went to watch it twice later. And get this, IMAX'S 80 FOOT SCREEN, BABY! How cool is that?!

I lost my phone though. :( LG. I think I might be cursed to have Nokia phones. I'm not complaining, but I reeeally liked my Cookie :( I hope it just pops up somewhere. ANYWHERE!
