We connect divergent stakeholders for sustainability and democracy.
We are a hub for analysis and networking that supports CSOs, state administrations and businesses to work together more effectively to address common challenges to democratic principles, green economy and inter-connected, cohesive society.
We map these challenges and consult with relevant actors on proposed solutions. Then we coordinate agreed actions or contibute ourselves to changes on the ground - negotiating with government bodies or raising awareness and consulting with companies.
Supporting CSO Networks to Collaborate with Divergent Stakeholders
In the Stronger Roots program we provide small grants, consultancy and peer learning to platforms, coalitions and other networks of CSOs in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. It allows them to build relationships and develop collaboration to address important systemic issues with state administration, businesses and other key stakeholders in a given environment with whom they have had little or no interaction so far.
In the PART project we support more effective cooperation between NGOs and public officials and strengthen the capacity of the NGO sector to oversee the use of EU funds.
In the PROSECO project, we strengthen the resilience and cooperation of NGOs in the Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia and Slovakia. We are improving monitoring and analysis of the state of the civic environment in these countries.
Advocacy Platforms Collaboration and Negotiation with Government
We are responsible for the strategic development and operation of NeoN (Network of Networks), which brings together more than 20 platforms representing over 1 000 CSOs. Together we negotiate a better environment for the non-profit sector and its greater involvement in the functioning of the state. We coordinate joint action in the government council, steering or monitoring committees.
